Bottom line: Switchy is a link shortener built for marketers. Every short link can carry retargeting pixels, a custom preview (title, description, image), deep links into apps and smart redirects, and the plan includes small mobile “smart pages” for social bios. On AppSumo it sells one to five stacked codes, from $39 to $195 once, read on 29 October 2026. You can create as many links as you like; what you’re really buying is a number of clicks a month, from 30,000 on one code to 350,000 on five. The listing is “Covered by our We Got Your Back guarantee” and refundable for 60 days, but it’s only for new Switchy users, and the five most recent buyer questions had no answer when we checked.
Best for: marketers, newsletter writers and small agencies who share links in ads, posts and emails and want to retarget the people who click.
Think twice if: you already have a Switchy account, you need deep campaign attribution, or you want quick answers from the team before you buy.
We have no affiliate deal with Switchy or AppSumo; links go to the official pages. How we review.
Updated 29 October 2026. This Switchy review rests on what we read that day: the Switchy listing on AppSumo, including all five plans, the plan comparison grid, the deal terms, reviews, questions and founder posts, and Switchy’s own pricing page in both its monthly and yearly views. We haven’t created links or run ads through it, so we describe the plans, the limits and what buyers report, not redirect speed.

What Switchy does
Switchy turns a plain link into something you can track and reuse for ads. You shorten a URL, put it on your own domain (link.yourcompany.com, say), edit how it looks when shared, and attach the tracking pixels of the ad platforms you use. Anyone who clicks lands in your retargeting audiences, even though the destination page might belong to someone else. The listing describes it as a way to “use links as a true marketing channel,” not just a redirect.
Features ticked on every AppSumo plan in the listing’s comparison grid, with no crosses anywhere:
- Link basics: custom domains, tags, notes on campaigns, a Chrome extension and direct sharing.
- Retargeting: pixels added “without tech skills using step-by-step guides,” with full tracking and a GDPR pop-up for consent.
- Routing: a link rotator, geo-redirection, 404 redirection and “+150 deep links integration” so a link can open the right app.
- Smart pages: mobile bio pages from “100+ templates and 20+ block types.”
- Extras: embed widgets on links, Messenger links, multiple workspaces and real-time analytics with A/B tests.
Switchy’s own homepage adds a privacy opt-in pop-up for “GDPR & CCPA Compliance” and says the product is “Already used by more than 8.000 companies.” The listing’s company box says Switchy was founded in 2018, has 2-10 people and is bootstrapped. A founder post from 2021 on the listing mentions being accelerated by Havas Group in Station F.
The click allowance: what most people miss
Here’s the line most people miss. Switchy doesn’t count links; it counts clicks a month. Turns out that changes how you should size a plan, because a single popular link can use more of your allowance than a hundred quiet ones.
The plan cards read:
- 1 code ($39): 30,000 clicks a month, 8 custom domains, “2 (with logo)” smart pages, 10 team members.
- 2 codes ($78): 60,000 clicks, 16 domains, 10 smart pages, 20 team members.
- 3 codes ($117): 90,000 clicks, 24 domains, 15 smart pages, 30 team members.
- 4 codes ($156): 120,000 clicks, 32 domains, 20 smart pages, 40 team members.
- 5 codes ($195): 350,000 clicks, 40 domains, 30 smart pages, 75 team members.
Two things stand out. The first four codes add 30,000 clicks each; the fifth adds 230,000. And the single-code plan’s smart pages carry “(with logo),” which we read as Switchy’s own branding staying on those pages. The listing doesn’t say whose logo, so ask before you plan your bio links around one code.
What happens when you run out? We couldn’t find that on any page shown to visitors. An FAQ answer sitting in Switchy’s own website code, which we didn’t see displayed anywhere, says that if you reach the limit “all the links will continue to work normally” but you “can’t create new links” until the month ends or you upgrade. Treat that as unconfirmed for AppSumo accounts and ask support.

One-time prices on AppSumo, read 29 October 2026; each plan is a number of stacked codes (1 to 5). Switchy's own site sells monthly subscriptions: Team $47 ($39 a month billed yearly) for 10,000 clicks, Pro $83 ($69) for 50,000, Business $119 ($99) for 100,000, Enterprise $199 ($200) for 300,000, up to Company at $1,399 a month for 3,500,000 clicks.

Picking a plan: worked examples
A newsletter writer. Say you send four issues a month and each issue gets around 5,000 link clicks across all its links. That’s 20,000 clicks a month. One code’s 30,000 covers it with a third to spare. If you’ve got a viral month or two in your plans, the second code doubles the ceiling for another $39.
A creator who wants clean bio pages. One code gives two smart pages, with a logo on them. If you run three social profiles and want a separate page for each, without the branding, you need the second code: 10 smart pages for $78 in total. In practice, the smart page count decides this buyer’s plan long before the click count does.
A small agency with eight clients. If each client’s ads and posts send 10,000 clicks a month through Switchy, that’s 80,000 a month. Three codes give 90,000, which is tight once one client has a busy launch. Four codes give 120,000 for $156. But the fifth code costs only $39 more and lifts the ceiling to 350,000, almost three times as much. Honestly, if you’re anywhere near four codes, the fifth is the cheapest headroom on the listing.
A team that needs more domains than clicks. Eight custom domains come with one code. An agency that brands links for twenty clients needs at least three codes (24 domains) even if its clicks are low.
When you’re unsure, count your busiest month of clicks over the past year, not your average one. Don’t forget the codes stack only “up to 5,” so 350,000 is the most a single account can reach through this deal.
The deal vs Switchy’s own plans
Switchy’s own pricing page, read on 29 October 2026, lists monthly subscriptions. The smaller plans:
| Switchy’s own plan | Monthly billing | Yearly billing, per month | Clicks | Domains | Users |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Team | $47 | $39 | 10,000 | 2 | 1 |
| Pro | $83 | $69 | 50,000 | 5 | 5 |
| Business | $119 | $99 | 100,000 | 15 | 10 |
| Enterprise | $199 | $200 | 300,000 | 25 | 20 |
| Boost | $349 | $299 | 500,000 | 30 | 30 |
The page goes on to Growth, Scale, Build and Company plans up to 3,500,000 clicks at $1,399 a month billed monthly, and it also shows a plan labelled “MOBIVITY.COM CUSTOM PLAN.” The yearly view really does show Enterprise at $200 a month against $199 monthly; we report it as displayed.
Line them up and the deal is far ahead on paper. One code at $39 once gives three times the clicks, four times the domains and ten times the users of the Team plan, which costs $47 a month. Four codes at $156 once beat Business, at $119 a month, on clicks, domains and users. Five codes at $195 once top Enterprise on clicks (350,000 against 300,000) and domains. The usual caution applies: a subscription keeps the company paid to keep the product going, and a one-time deal doesn’t.
None of the AppSumo tiers matches one of Switchy’s named plans, and the terms promise “All future plan updates” without naming a plan. That’s vaguer than deals that map each tier to a named vendor plan. If a feature later lands on, say, the Boost plan only, it isn’t clear whether your codes get it.
The struck-through “was” prices on the listing ($2,400 for one code, $1,200 for two, $1,800 for three, $2,400 for four, $3,600 for five) don’t follow a pattern we could match to Switchy’s pricing page, so we don’t treat them as savings.
What buyers report
The listing’s image tag reads 4.87 stars from 276 reviews; the header rounds it to 4.9 and AppSumo’s AI summary says 4.8. Of the 276, 257 are five tacos and six are one or two. The deal first went live on 10 February 2021, and 37,166 people have bought it.
Long-term users stay. An April 2026 reviewer says they bought Switchy six years ago, still use it across campaigns, and saw it “back on AppSumo at the same price.” They praise the control over “what happens after someone clicks” through domains, UTMs, pixels and redirect rules.
Analytics are basic. The same reviewer calls the reporting “a monitoring layer” rather than full attribution, and says “The product feels more maintained than actively developed.” Don’t buy it expecting a roadmap.
Heavy users stack codes. A March 2026 reviewer bought 10 codes, maxing out two accounts, and calls it one of their best AppSumo buys. Their one complaint: redirects “could be just a tiny bit faster.”
New buyers like the setup. An October 2026 reviewer found it “much simpler to navigate and set up than its market counterparts,” for branded links and cloaking.
Questions wait. The listing says to expect a response “within 24 hours,” yet the five most recent questions, from May to October 2026, all showed no answer. They asked about example links to test speed (October), MCP access for AI tools (October), uptime (August), whether smart pages can show a cookie banner for GDPR and DSGVO (June), and how many expiring links can be emailed a month (May). The two founder posts on the listing date from 2021.
The FAQ tab is wrong. Most people miss this one. Of the eight FAQs on the listing, the first describes Switchy correctly; the other seven answer questions about a smart-home light switch app, such as adding a device by scanning a QR code from the box. They belong to a different product with the same name. Skip the FAQ tab and rely on the plan grid and terms.
The terms
The deal terms read:
- “Lifetime access to Switchy.”
- “All future plan updates.”
- “You must redeem your code(s) within 60 days of purchase.”
- “Stack up to 5 codes.”
- “GDPR compliant.”
- “Only for new Switchy users who do not have existing accounts.”
The guarantee line reads “Covered by our We Got Your Back guarantee,” with “Carefully selected by AppSumo for quality, performance, and support.” The listing says “Refundable up to 60 days.” Like every deal, this one can end; nothing on the page promises it stays.
The new-users rule matters more here than on most deals, because Switchy has been sold on AppSumo since 2021. If you’ve got an old account from an earlier purchase or a trial, the terms say these codes aren’t for it. Ask support how they handle that before you buy, not after.
Switchy vs Bitly, Linktree and Rebrandly
The listing names Bitly, Linktree and Rebrandly as the tools Switchy replaces. Bitly and Rebrandly are best known for branded short links; Linktree for bio pages. Switchy’s pitch is doing both, plus retargeting pixels on every link, in one account. We didn’t price Bitly, Linktree or Rebrandly for this review, and we didn’t compare their features, so we can’t tell you which is cheaper or better at any one job. If you only need a bio page, a dedicated bio tool may be simpler; if you run retargeting ads, the pixel feature is the reason to look at Switchy at all.
Common mistakes with the Switchy deal
Sizing by links instead of clicks. Links are unlimited. Clicks a month are the limit.
Stopping at four codes. The fifth code adds 230,000 clicks a month for $39. If you need more than 90,000, price both.
Buying with an existing account. The terms say new users only. Check first if you’ve ever signed up.
Counting on one code for bio pages. It includes two smart pages “with logo.” Two codes remove that line and give ten.
Trusting the FAQ tab. Seven of its eight answers are about a different product.
Skipping the consent pop-up. When you add ad pixels to links for European visitors, turn on the GDPR pop-up and check it works on your domains.
Who Switchy suits
A marketer running retargeting ads. Pixels on every shared link are the core of the product.
A newsletter writer or creator. One or two codes cover tens of thousands of clicks and a few bio pages.
A small agency. Four or five codes, for 32 to 40 client domains and up to 75 team members.
Anyone needing detailed attribution or fast pre-sale answers. Skip it, or test hard inside the refund window.
How to test it inside the refund window
- Connect one custom domain and create five links with your real ad pixels attached.
- Share one link on each platform you use and check the preview, the redirect and that the pixel fires.
- Build a smart page and see whether the “with logo” branding shows on your plan.
- Ask support three questions: what happens at the click limit, how the new-users rule applies to you, and which plan “All future plan updates” refers to. Note how long the replies take.
- Check a month’s analytics against your other tools before day 60.
What we couldn’t check
We didn’t create links, measure redirect speed or check that pixels fire. We couldn’t load Switchy’s help center, which didn’t respond, and we couldn’t find a displayed page that says what happens when you pass your click limit. We couldn’t confirm whose logo sits on single-code smart pages, which plan the “All future plan updates” line maps to, or whether Switchy will answer the five open questions on the listing. Settle the ones that matter to you before day 60.
FAQ: Switchy questions
Is Switchy a one-time payment on AppSumo?
Yes. On 29 October 2026 the listing sold one to five codes, $39 to $195 once, with lifetime access while the deal runs.
How many links can I create with the Switchy deal?
The plans limit clicks a month, not links: 30,000 on one code up to 350,000 on five.
Can existing Switchy users buy the AppSumo deal?
The terms say it’s “Only for new Switchy users who do not have existing accounts.”
Is the Switchy deal refundable?
Yes. The listing says “Refundable up to 60 days” and “Covered by our We Got Your Back guarantee.”
The verdict
Switchy does a specific job well on paper: branded short links that also feed your retargeting audiences, with bio pages and deep links thrown in. The deal is cheap against Switchy’s own subscriptions, buyers are loyal over years, and AppSumo covers it with a 60-day refund and its guarantee. Size it by clicks a month, look hard at the fifth code, and check the new-users rule. The quiet question tab, the wrong FAQ answers and a reviewer’s “maintained more than developed” keep the support score down, so use the refund window to find out how fast the team answers you.
