AdaptlyPost review: scheduling is unlimited, but X posts and AI spend credits

AdaptlyPost schedules posts to 13 social platforms and opens its scheduler to AI agents through an API and MCP. AppSumo sells five tiers from $59 to $799 once. The monthly credits pay for AI and X posts, and a clickable X link costs 20.

Bottom line: AdaptlyPost is a social media scheduler from a small, bootstrapped team in Gdańsk, Poland, founded in 2026. You plan posts in one calendar, adapt them per platform, and publish to 13 networks, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest and X. Its unusual angle is that AI agents can drive it: there’s an API, an MCP server and webhooks on every tier. On AppSumo it sells five tiers, $59, $129, $299, $499 and $799 once, each refundable up to 60 days. Scheduling is unlimited, but the monthly credits on each tier pay for AI captions, AI images and every post to X, and an X post with a clickable link costs 20 credits. When we read it, the listing showed a “Price increases in” countdown, so these prices may already have moved.

Best for: creators, small businesses and agencies posting to Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest and the rest, especially anyone who wants Claude, ChatGPT or their own scripts to queue posts.

Think twice if: X with clickable links is your main channel, or you need a social inbox for comments and DMs today.

Updated 29 October 2026. This AdaptlyPost review rests on what we read that day: the AdaptlyPost listing on AppSumo, including all five tiers, the deal terms, the founder’s answers and buyer reviews, and AdaptlyPost’s own pricing page with its plans and FAQ. We haven’t scheduled posts with it, so we describe the plans, the limits and what buyers report, not how reliably it publishes.

What AdaptlyPost does

AdaptlyPost is a scheduler first. You write a post once, tailor the caption, hashtags and timing for each network, and let it publish from a visual calendar. The listing’s FAQ names 13 platforms: X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, Google Business Profile and Tumblr. AdaptlyPost’s own FAQ lists the same 13. In an October reply to a reviewer, the founder wrote “We already support 14 platforms,” so the count may have grown. If you’ve got a network outside that list, check the connectors page before you buy.

Every AppSumo tier carries the same feature list:

  • Unlimited scheduled posts, with a tooltip on the listing that adds “except for X/Twitter.”
  • AI captions and an AI image studio for text-to-image visuals sized for each platform.
  • API and MCP access, so an AI assistant or your own code can create, schedule and publish posts.
  • OpenClaw integration, for agent workflows driven by plain-English commands.
  • Image, video and carousel posts, plus bulk uploads of up to 100 videos or 30 image posts per session, per the listing’s FAQ.

AdaptlyPost’s own pricing page also lists RSS feed auto-posting, Zapier and n8n integrations, and browser extensions on all its paid plans. The AppSumo plan cards don’t mention those, though one October 2026 reviewer on the deal said the RSS integration “works well for automating posts.”

The agent side is where most reviewers spend their words. In a late-October answer on the listing, the founder confirmed webhooks for published, failed, partially failed and scheduled posts, a rate limit of 600 requests per minute per API key, drafts created through the API, and media attached by public link instead of upload. Each workspace has its own connected accounts and its own API keys.

The credit system most people miss

Here’s the detail that decides which tier you need, and most people miss it because the plan cards just say “Credits per month.” Scheduling is unlimited on every network but one. The credits are a monthly allowance, and in practice they go on two things.

On 27 October 2026 the founder answered a buyer who asked for a full price list: “Credits only pay for AI work; scheduling, publishing, analytics and everything else in the tool cost nothing (except X/Twitter posting).” The costs quoted in that answer were 2 credits for an AI caption, 2 for a standard AI image, 4 for a premium AI image and 2 for publishing to X.

A day later, answering another buyer, the founder added the number that catches people out: “An X post uses 2 credits, an X post with a clickable link uses 20.” If you run out mid-month, you can buy more inside the app.

The reason is X’s own pricing. In a September 2026 reply, the founder said X charges AdaptlyPost “$0.20 for each post that includes a link.” By default, AdaptlyPost breaks the link so it stays readable but isn’t clickable, and the founder says AppSumo buyers can tick “Keep link clickable” and pay the higher credit cost. Moving the link to a reply doesn’t help, because X bills a reply as a post too.

Two of the three lowest-rated reviews are about exactly this. A September 2026 buyer gave two tacos and took a refund because links in X posts didn’t work for them. An October 2026 buyer gave three and wrote they were “a little bit disapoinnted about how many credits a link cost to post.”

Worked examples: what the credits buy

The sums below use only the founder’s figures above.

A solo creator on Tier 1 (200 credits). Turns out 200 credits is 100 plain X posts a month, or 10 X posts with clickable links, or 100 AI captions. A realistic mix: 40 X posts without links (80 credits), 3 with links (60) and 30 AI captions (60). That’s the whole month. Every post to Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok or Pinterest costs nothing on top.

A small business on Tier 2 (600 credits). One X post a day with a clickable link uses 30 × 20 = 600 credits, the entire allowance, before a single AI caption. Drop the clickable link and the same 30 posts cost 60 credits, leaving 540 for about 270 AI captions or images.

An agency on Tier 3 (1,400 credits). Ten clients, each with one linked X post a week, is about 43 posts a month, or roughly 870 credits. Add 250 AI captions at 2 credits each (500) and you’re at about 1,370. Honestly, that’s tight. If your clients live on X with links, Tier 4’s 3,000 credits is the safer budget.

Someone who never touches X. If you’ve got no X account and write your own captions, the credits barely matter. Then pick the tier on connected accounts, team members and workspaces alone.

One-time prices on AppSumo, read 29 October 2026, under a 'Price increases in' countdown; one licence per tier, no stacking. AdaptlyPost's own site sells Creator $19 a month or $190 a year, Pro $39 or $390, and Enterprise $89 or $890, each with a 7-day free trial.

Prices checked Oct 29, 2026 on AdaptlyPost’s own pricing page. Lifetime deals are listings that can end or change, so check the live listing before you buy.

Tiers 4 and 5 were added in September 2026. The founder’s post announcing them says the features are “identical to every other tier” and adds: “You’re buying room, not permission.” The same post still names Tier 3 as the one they recommend for most people. In practice, the step from Tier 2 to Tier 3 buys more credits and seats than accounts: 1,400 credits against 600, and 20 team members against five.

A Pinterest note that changes the account maths: the founder said on 27 October that one Pinterest account takes one social account slot, “no matter how many boards it has.”

The deal vs AdaptlyPost’s own plans

AdaptlyPost’s own pricing page, read on 29 October 2026, sells three subscriptions with a 7-day free trial, plus a Custom plan through sales:

AdaptlyPost’s own planMonthlyYearlyAccountsAI credits a monthTeamWorkspaces
Creator$19$1903015011
Pro$39$3906040033
Enterprise$89$8901001,0001010

Most people miss what the struck-through prices are. AppSumo’s $190, $390 and $890 match one year of Creator, Pro and Enterprise on AdaptlyPost’s own page. Tiers 4 and 5 have no public plan behind them; their “was” prices aren’t a figure we could find anywhere else.

Line the tiers up and, in practice, the AppSumo versions carry more, with one exception. Tier 1 has 25 connected accounts where Creator has 30, but it has 200 credits against 150 and three workspaces against one. Tier 2 has 50 accounts against Pro’s 60, but more credits, members and workspaces. Tier 3 matches Enterprise on 100 accounts and beats it on credits, members and workspaces.

On cost, $59 once is about three months of Creator, and $299 once is under three and a half months of Enterprise. The deal terms tie Tier 1 to the Creator plan, Tier 2 to Pro and Tiers 3 to 5 to Enterprise, so updates should follow those plans.

What buyers report

The listing shows 4.9 from 157 reviews: 148 five-taco ratings, six fours, and one each at three, two and one. It also showed 965 bought.

The agent workflow gets the praise. An October 2026 reviewer runs a church, a nonprofit and a small business from one account, each in its own workspace, and says their assistant can switch between them and save drafts “without me opening the app.” Another, writing on 26 October, connected it to Claude, Codex and another agent and scheduled 50 posts in a week.

The founder answers fast. Almost every review we read has a reply from Taras Shynkarenko, usually within a day or two. One October reviewer asked for drafts with a planned date; the founder replied that the feature now exists.

Platform rules cause most failures. The one-taco review, from 26 October 2026, says posts failed “with no rhythm or reason.” The founder’s reply blamed the platforms’ own rules: photos too tall for Instagram and Threads, and a video of about 2.5 seconds that Pinterest rejected because it accepts only videos of four seconds or more.

Known gaps. In replies to reviewers, the founder said YouTube Community posts can’t be published through YouTube’s API, that TikTok’s API strips line breaks from captions, and that a unified inbox is something “we’re actively working on.” LinkedIn personal profiles get only aggregated analytics; Company Pages get per-post analytics. The founder also said the interface supports five languages.

Honestly, the three low ratings read more like warnings about X’s pricing and each network’s upload rules than complaints about the calendar itself.

Smaller snags buyers ran into

None of these sank a review, but each is worth knowing when you’re setting up.

Instagram needs the right account type. The listing’s FAQ says you need an Instagram Business or Creator account linked to a Facebook Page. A personal Instagram profile won’t connect. One 29 October reviewer’s Facebook and Instagram trouble turned out to be their own Firefox security settings.

Reconnect X after upgrading it. A 28 October buyer linked their X account before buying X’s paid tier and stayed stuck at 280 characters. Disconnecting and reconnecting fixed it.

A YouTube ceiling one buyer hit. On 19 October a four-taco reviewer couldn’t post more than eight videos to YouTube, and said thumbnails didn’t arrive on some apps. The founder replied that AdaptlyPost sets no YouTube limit beyond YouTube’s own per-channel rules, and asked for details by email. We found no follow-up.

Frequent update pop-ups. A 26 October reviewer disliked a “New version available” prompt. The founder said the team ships a few updates a day and expects that to slow to a few a week.

Missing networks and languages. One October reviewer wanted Reddit, Patreon and Quora. A September reviewer asked for a Turkish interface, brand-voice settings, deeper analytics and comment and DM handling. Skip the deal if any of those is a must-have today rather than a wish.

An open question. On 29 October a buyer asked how AdaptlyPost compares with StoryChief, which they described as a planner and content generator as well as a scheduler. There was no reply yet when we read the page.

A French-language reviewer on Tier 1, writing on 17 October, gives a fair picture of the easy path: about 15 minutes to connect Instagram and LinkedIn, then a month-at-a-glance calendar instead of three open tabs.

The terms

The deal terms read:

  • “Lifetime access to AdaptlyPost.”
  • “All future Creator (Tier 1), Pro (Tier 2), or Enterprise (Tiers 3-5) Plan updates.”
  • “If Plan name changes, deal will be mapped to the new Plan name with all accompanying updates.”
  • “No codes, no stacking—just choose the plan that’s right for you.”
  • “You must activate your license within 60 days of purchase.”
  • “Ability to upgrade between 5 license tiers while the deal is available.”
  • “Ability to downgrade between 5 license tiers within 60 days of purchase.”

The guarantee line reads “Plus members are covered by our We Got Your Back guarantee.” The refund line reads “Refundable up to 60 days.” The listing also says “Only on AppSumo.”

On what happens if the company folds or sells, the founder answered on 28 October: “If AdaptlyPost is ever discontinued, you get at least 90 days’ notice by email, with full export available during that window. If AdaptlyPost is sold, your licence passes to the buyer, and you are told before the sale closes.” That’s a stated promise on the listing, not a clause in the deal terms.

AdaptlyPost vs Buffer, Hootsuite and Sprout Social

The listing names Buffer, Hootsuite and Sprout Social as the tools AdaptlyPost replaces. We didn’t price or read the plans of any of them for this review, so we won’t compare limits. The difference we can describe is AdaptlyPost’s own: a one-time price on AppSumo, credits that only bite on AI and X, and an API and MCP server on every tier. If your team already runs on one of the established tools and needs an inbox for replies, check what you’d give up before switching.

Common mistakes with the AdaptlyPost deal

Reading “unlimited scheduled posts” as unlimited X posts. X is the exception: when you post there, every post spends credits.

Planning daily X posts with links on Tier 1 or 2. At 20 credits each, 10 linked X posts use all of Tier 1’s month.

Assuming Tier 1 beats Creator on everything. Turns out it has 25 connected accounts, five fewer than Creator’s 30.

Forgetting the downgrade window. Don’t forget that downgrades are allowed only within 60 days of purchase, and upgrades only while the deal is live.

Blaming the tool for platform rules. When you bulk-schedule, check image ratios and video lengths for Instagram, Threads and Pinterest first.

Waiting on the inbox. Skip the purchase if comment and DM management is the reason you’re buying; it isn’t there yet.

Who AdaptlyPost suits

A creator or small business off X. Tier 1 or 2 covers a lot of accounts, and the credits only go on AI.

Anyone building an AI posting workflow. API, MCP and webhooks on every tier are the main draw in the reviews.

An agency with client workspaces. Tier 3 or above, for 50 to 400 separate workspaces.

A brand that lives on X with links. If you’ve built your audience there, budget the credits carefully or look elsewhere.

How to test it inside the refund window

  1. Connect every account you’ll use, including one Pinterest account with several boards and one LinkedIn Company Page.
  2. Schedule a week of real posts across your networks and check each one went out as written.
  3. Post to X with and without “Keep link clickable” and watch the credit balance change.
  4. Connect your AI assistant through MCP or the API and have it save a draft for a planned date.
  5. Note your monthly credit burn by day 30, when you still have time to change tier before day 60.

What we couldn’t check

We didn’t schedule posts, connect accounts or test the API, MCP or webhooks. We couldn’t read the credit-cost table on AdaptlyPost’s own pricing page, which loads its figures in the browser, so the costs above come from the founder’s answers on AppSumo. We couldn’t confirm whether the RSS, Zapier, n8n and browser-extension features on the vendor’s plans are part of every AppSumo tier, or whether the platform count is now 13 or 14. Don’t forget to ask support before day 60.

FAQ: AdaptlyPost questions

Is AdaptlyPost a one-time payment on AppSumo?

Yes. On 29 October 2026 the five tiers were $59, $129, $299, $499 and $799 once, each refundable up to 60 days.

What do AdaptlyPost credits pay for?

Per the founder on AppSumo, credits pay for AI captions (2), standard AI images (2), premium AI images (4) and X posts (2, or 20 with a clickable link). Posting to every other platform costs nothing.

Does AdaptlyPost support posting links on X?

Yes, but links are made unclickable by default. AppSumo buyers can tick “Keep link clickable,” and that post uses 20 credits.

Does AdaptlyPost work with Claude or ChatGPT?

Yes. Every tier includes API and MCP access, and reviewers describe using Claude, ChatGPT and Codex to draft and schedule posts.

The verdict

AdaptlyPost is a well-reviewed, quickly updated scheduler whose API and MCP access make it a natural fit for AI-driven posting, and the AppSumo tiers carry more credits, members and workspaces than the vendor’s own subscriptions at a one-time price. The catch is narrow but real: X posts spend credits, and clickable X links spend a lot of them. Do the credit sums for your own posting before you buy, don’t forget the company is less than a year old, and use the 60-day window to prove it publishes cleanly to every account you run.
