Bottom line: FlipLink (sold as FlipLink.me) takes a PDF and publishes it as a 3D page-turning flipbook or a scrollable document, with your branding, your own domain, lead forms, a Stripe paywall and per-page analytics. On AppSumo every plan carries the full feature list. What changes from Plan 1 to Plan 10 is one number: each $129 code adds 100 flipbooks, up to 1,000 for $1,290. FlipLink’s own site sells the same 100-flipbook code for the same $129, plus smaller 10 and 50 tiers at $39 and $89. AppSumo’s edge is its 60-day refund window against FlipLink’s own 30 days. The listing is “Not covered by We Got Your Back.”
Best for: marketers, real estate agents, small publishers and shops that send brochures, catalogues or proposals as PDFs and want to see who opened them.
Think twice if: you need video inside your pages, or you publish far more than a few hundred documents and want to keep them all live.
We have no affiliate deal with FlipLink or AppSumo; links go to the official pages. How we review.
Updated 29 October 2026. This FlipLink review rests on what we read that day: the FlipLink.me listing on AppSumo, including all ten plans, the deal terms, the founder’s notes, questions and reviews, and FlipLink’s own pricing page, FAQ and refund policy. We haven’t published a flipbook with it, so we describe the plans, the limits and what buyers report, not how fast a book loads.

What FlipLink does
You upload a PDF, choose whether it becomes a Flipbook or a Document, set the look, and publish. You get a link, a QR code and an embed code. FlipLink’s FAQ explains the two formats: flipbooks use “a 3D page-turning effect powered by WebGL,” with sound effects and music, while documents use a scrollable viewer with text selection, search and a slide mode. The same FAQ warns that “the choice is permanent at creation time and cannot be changed later,” so pick with care when you publish something you’ll keep. Most people miss this until they want search inside a flipbook, or page-turn effects on a document, and find they have to publish it again.
The AppSumo plan cards list the same features on every tier:
- Look and branding: hundreds of backgrounds, animated backgrounds, custom background audio and music, saved templates, custom URL and branding options, dynamic button and logo placement, and right-to-left flipping.
- Sharing: embed on your website, unlimited CNAME custom domains, password protection, and sharing to specific email addresses.
- Leads and sales: lead capture forms, “Lead generation after X number of pages,” “Email Verification of Leads,” a call-to-action button, a payment gateway and “Purchase flip books after X number of pages.”
- Tracking: per-view analytics and advanced analytics, plus Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
- Work tools: team members with folder access, multiple folders, email template editing, language options, auto flip, an API, and “Vector text quality.”
FlipLink’s own FAQ fills in some detail. The paywall runs through your own Stripe account, with prices in “130+ currencies,” and FlipLink says it takes no commission. Analytics cover views, unique visitors, time spent, devices, countries and cities, referrers and per-page engagement, and you can share an analytics link with a client. A Replace PDF feature swaps the file under a live link while keeping the settings, leads and stats. In practice, that means when you fix a typo in a price list, the QR code you already printed still works. The pricing page also names a voice assistant, document approval, link expiry and white-label publishing among “all 35 features.”
The limit most people miss: 100 active publications per code
Every AppSumo plan is a stack of identical codes. The founder’s note on the listing puts it plainly: “all features are available with every code purchased. Additional code will add 100 Flipbooks to your account.” So Plan 3 isn’t a bigger product than Plan 1. It’s three times the room.
FlipLink’s own FAQ is more exact about what that room is. “Each lifetime deal code gives you 100 active publications,” it says, and “there is no unlimited plan.” Turns out that word “active” matters a lot. Another answer says you can delete “any flipbook or document you no longer need,” and that “Deleting a publication frees up that slot for a new one within your plan’s limit.” Two things follow, as we read it:
- It’s a cap on what’s live, not a lifetime total. Retire an old brochure and you get its slot back.
- Documents count too. The FAQ talks about publications and names both formats, so a scrollable document appears to use a slot just like a flipbook. Confirm this with support if you plan to publish many of each.
The ceiling on AppSumo is 10 codes, or 1,000 publications. If you’ve got a back catalogue of thousands of PDFs to keep online forever, no plan on this listing holds them. Skip the deal in that case, or keep only your current titles live and host the archive elsewhere.

One-time prices on AppSumo; each plan is a number of stacked $129 codes (1 to 10), each adding 100 flipbooks. FlipLink's own site sells lifetime codes at $39 (10 flipbooks), $89 (50) and $129 (100, stackable), with a 30-day refund.
Prices checked Oct 29, 2026 on FlipLink’s own pricing page. Lifetime deals are listings that can end or change, so check the live listing before you buy.
Picking a plan: four worked examples
A real estate agent. Say you list 25 properties a quarter, each with a brochure, and you delete a brochure once the property sells. You rarely have more than 40 live at once. Plan 1, at $129 for 100 slots, covers it with room for a buyer’s guide and a few market reports.
A small magazine. Twelve issues a year, kept online as an archive. Plan 1’s 100 slots last a little over eight years. If you also have five years of back issues to upload on day one, that’s 60 slots gone straight away, and 40 left is about three years. Plan 2 at $258 gives 200 slots, which is roughly 11 years at that pace.
An agency. Eight clients, each with about 20 live catalogues, proposals and menus, is 160 publications. That’s Plan 2. Add a ninth and tenth client and you’ll be near 200, so Plan 3 at $387 is the safer buy. In practice, agencies should count every client’s live files, not just today’s projects.
A shop selling PDFs. If you sell guides through the Stripe paywall and each guide stays on sale for years, every guide holds a slot for good. Thirty products and a handful of free lead magnets fit easily in Plan 1.
The sum behind all of these is the same: $1.29 per slot, whichever plan you pick. When you’re deciding, count what will be live at your busiest point, not what you’ll publish in total. Honestly, the cheapest mistake to avoid is buying ten codes “just in case” when you can delete old files to free space.
The deal vs buying from FlipLink directly
FlipLink’s own pricing page, read on 29 October 2026, sells lifetime codes too, and says “every tier unlocks all features”:
| FlipLink’s own lifetime code | Price | Flipbooks |
|---|---|---|
| Lifetime Deal | $39 once | 10 |
| Lifetime Deal | $89 once | 50 |
| Lifetime Deal (“MOST POPULAR”) | $129 once | 100 |
The page adds that “the 100-flipbook tier is stackable.” So AppSumo’s Plan 1 is the same 100-flipbook code at the same $129, and each extra AppSumo code matches stacking another direct code. The price doesn’t decide this one. Turns out the fine print does.
The refund window does. FlipLink’s refund policy says lifetime codes are refundable “within 30 days of purchase,” and “After 30 days, all sales are final.” AppSumo’s listing says “Refundable up to 60 days.” For the same money, AppSumo gives you twice as long to change your mind. The direct site has one thing AppSumo doesn’t: the small $39 and $89 codes. If you’ll never have more than 10 or 50 publications live, the direct route is cheaper, with the shorter refund.
Don’t forget the free trial either. Both pages describe it as giving access to every feature with no credit card, though the FAQ caps free uploads at 40 MB, against 150 MB on paid plans. When you’re unsure between buying direct and buying on AppSumo, build your first real flipbook on the free account first. If you’ve already done that and liked it, the choice comes down to how many slots you need and how long you want to be able to change your mind.
What buyers report
The listing shows 4.85 stars from 291 reviews and “3,124 bought.” Its questions tab shows 427 questions.
Long-time users stay. A June 2026 review, in French, says the writer has used FlipLink for several years (our translation) and praises the quick, attentive customer service most of all. Another June 2026 buyer bought in 2024, only started using it properly later, and now shares password-protected flipbooks with customers.
People buy it for specific features. An April 2026 reviewer already owned another flipbook tool from AppSumo but wanted music, a custom domain without paying for higher tiers, and room for larger booklets. The founder replied in June that an update was coming to start music at a set point per page.
Links can need work. A February 2026 reviewer moving from a flipbook service they’d used for 15 years found “none of the links in the magazine pages are working” at first. They said FlipLink “uses a different process for adding links” and that support was helping. That sits oddly beside the founder’s own FAQ answer that PDF links stay clickable, so test your own files. Don’t forget to try links on a phone as well as a laptop, since the flipbook switches to single pages in portrait. The same buyer missed adding, removing and reordering single pages; FlipLink wants the whole book as one PDF.
Requests on the list. A February 2026 review asked to preview mobile and desktop layouts while editing; the founder called it a valuable suggestion. A June 2026 question reported Portuguese special characters showing as code in the language settings, and asked to translate the OTP verification email.
Video: not yet
This is the gap buyers ask about most. FlipLink’s FAQ says “you can’t embed video directly”; you can add links or CTA buttons that open a video in a new tab. In May 2026 a buyer asked about embedding videos, and the founder replied that video was “a straight NO” at first, that an attempt “failed,” and that the team is rebuilding it. On 5 October 2026 another buyer asked whether YouTube embeds had arrived yet, having seen earlier “will be added soon” answers. We saw no reply to that question when we read the page. Skip the deal if video inside your pages is a must today. Don’t buy on a promise.
The terms
The deal terms read:
- “Lifetime access to FlipLink.me.”
- “You must redeem your code(s) within 60 days of purchase.”
- “All future plan updates.”
Under them the listing adds: “We use PandaDoc to confirm each founder’s identity.” The guarantee line reads “Not covered by We Got Your Back. Listed by the partner, not reviewed by AppSumo.” The refund window is still 60 days.
Two things worth noting. Because every plan has the same features, “All future plan updates” is simpler here than on most deals; there’s no tier to be mapped. And an FAQ on the AppSumo listing says FlipLink has no affiliate program “due to its ongoing AppSumo deal,” and that one may come “once they transition to a subscription model.” That reads as a plan for future customers, and your terms say lifetime access, but keep a copy of the terms with your purchase.
FlipLink vs Issuu
The listing names Issuu as the tool FlipLink replaces, and says it “Does the same job for a one-time price from $129 instead of a subscription.” We didn’t read or price Issuu for this review, so we can’t compare features or plans. What we can say from FlipLink’s pages: it’s a one-time payment, it serves books from your own domain, and you keep the leads and the Stripe sales. If you’ve already got a large library on another platform, count how many of those files need to stay live before you move.
Common mistakes with the FlipLink deal
Reading 100 flipbooks as a monthly figure. It’s 100 live publications per code, at any one time.
Forgetting that documents use slots. Per the FAQ, a scrollable document is a publication too.
Choosing the wrong format. Flipbook or Document is fixed once you create it. Decide before you publish a file that people will bookmark.
Expecting video inside pages. Not available when we read the pages. Links out to video only. When you need a demo clip, put a play button in the PDF that opens it.
Assuming PDF links just work. One buyer had to redo theirs. Test a link-heavy file inside the refund window.
Buying ten codes for a small library. You can delete old files to free slots, and the direct site sells 10 and 50-flipbook codes for less. If you’ve only got a dozen PDFs, honestly, one code is plenty.
Who FlipLink suits
A real estate agent or broker. Branded brochures on your own domain, lead capture, and slots that free up as listings sell.
A marketer sending proposals. Per-page analytics and email-gated sharing show who read what, which is the problem the founder says FlipLink was built for.
A small publisher or shop. Magazines, menus and catalogues, with a paywall when the PDF is the product.
Anyone needing video in the page, or thousands of live files. Skip it.
How to test it inside the refund window
- Start on the free account and publish one real PDF as a Flipbook and one as a Document.
- Upload your largest, most link-heavy file and click every link on desktop and phone.
- Set up a custom domain with your CNAME record and check the book loads there.
- Turn on lead capture and the Stripe paywall with a test product, and check where leads and payments arrive.
- Ask support whether documents and flipbooks share the same 100-slot count, and how many team seats your codes include.
What we couldn’t check
We didn’t publish flipbooks, measure load times or test the analytics. We couldn’t find a team seat number on either page: the plan cards say “Team Members with folder access,” and FlipLink’s FAQ says “Seat limits depend on your plan.” We couldn’t confirm when video embeds will ship, or why one buyer’s PDF links didn’t carry over. The founder’s original listing note said PDFs must be “less than 100 MB”; today’s plan cards and FAQ both say 150 MB, so we’ve used the newer figure. Settle these before day 60.
FAQ: FlipLink questions
Is FlipLink a one-time payment on AppSumo?
Yes. Each code is $129 once for 100 flipbooks, and the listing sells 1 to 10 codes, $129 to $1,290.
Is FlipLink cheaper on AppSumo than on its own site?
Not for the 100-flipbook code, which is $129 in both places. AppSumo gives a 60-day refund against FlipLink’s 30 days. FlipLink’s own site also sells smaller 10 and 50-flipbook codes for $39 and $89.
Does deleting a flipbook free up space in FlipLink?
Yes, per FlipLink’s FAQ: deleting a publication “frees up that slot for a new one within your plan’s limit.”
Can you embed videos in a FlipLink flipbook?
Not directly, when we read the pages on 29 October 2026. You can link to a video from a button or a link in your PDF, and the founder said in May 2026 that video support is being rebuilt.
The verdict
FlipLink is a well-rated PDF flipbook tool with a feature list that doesn’t change by tier: custom domains, lead capture, paywalls and analytics come with the first code. The only thing you’re choosing is how many publications you’ll keep live, at $129 per hundred. On AppSumo the price matches FlipLink’s own, so the reason to buy here is the 60-day refund instead of 30. Missing video, a reported link issue and the lack of AppSumo’s guarantee hold it back. For brochures, proposals and catalogues, it’s an easy one to try on the free account first.
