Bottom line: GSpeech puts a player on your website that reads each page aloud, in AI voices or cheaper machine voices, and it saves the audio after the first play. On AppSumo it sells five tiers, from $69 to $1,299 once. The detail to read first is the credit line. Credits are characters, and Tier 1 carries 30,000 AI credits a month, which GSpeech’s own sums put at about five 1,000-word articles. Tier 1 also lacks audio download and real-time translation; translation starts at Tier 3. The listing is “Covered by our We Got Your Back guarantee” and refundable up to 60 days, and the reviews are strong.
Best for: bloggers, publishers and agencies who want a “listen to this article” player on sites they already run.
Think twice if: you mainly want to produce voiceover files for videos or podcasts, or you already have a GSpeech account.

Updated 29 October 2026. This GSpeech review rests on what we read that day: the GSpeech listing on AppSumo, including all five tiers, the deal terms, the founder’s answers and the reviews, and GSpeech’s own pricing page with its plan cards and credit packs. We haven’t put the player on a site or listened to the voices, so we describe the plans, the limits and what buyers report, not audio quality.

What GSpeech does
GSpeech is a cloud service with a player you place on your own pages. A visitor presses play and hears the article read aloud. You don’t paste text into a tool; the founder explains on the listing that “once you connect your website and configure the player, GSpeech handles the content automatically.” The listing FAQ says you add “a single line of code” to an HTML site, or use the plugins for WordPress and Joomla. The listing names Google, Shopify, Squarespace, Wix and WordPress as integrations.
The feature list on every AppSumo tier includes:
- Players: full page, button and circle styles, built with a template wizard, plus a text panel and a context player.
- Voices: the “Unified AI Voice Engine,” which GSpeech’s own page describes as Google Cloud, Gemini and OpenAI in one engine, with no API keys.
- Sites: mobile support, multi-language websites and GTranslate compatibility.
- Control: TTS aliases, so you can set how a brand name or abbreviation is read.
- Account: a personal dashboard, advanced analytics and no server requirements.
The listing FAQ adds MP3 download, background playback on mobile, and showing the player on chosen pages only. It also says GSpeech “does not support voice cloning.” A Tier 5 reviewer in February 2026 wrote that the embedded player “has no GSpeech branding.”
The one thing most people miss: credits are characters, by tier
The headline on the listing says “230+ voices in 70+ languages” and real-time translation. Turns out neither the translation nor the full allowance sits on the cheapest tiers. The plan cards read:
| AppSumo tier | Price | Sites | Non-AI credits a month | AI credits a month | Missing from the card |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| License Tier 1 | $69 | 1 | 500,000 | 30,000 | Play statistics, audio download, 100+ voice vibes, real-time translation, custom voice prompts |
| License Tier 2 | $159 | 3 | 900,000 | 100,000 | Real-time translation, custom voice prompts |
| License Tier 3 | $339 | 5 | 1,000,000 | 1,000,000 | Nothing |
| License Tier 4 | $809 | 10 | 5,000,000 | 2,000,000 | Nothing |
| License Tier 5 | $1,299 | Unlimited | 8,000,000 | 2,000,000 | Nothing |
Tier 1 lists 65 languages; the others list 70.
| Plan | Price |

| License Tier 4 Larger publishers |
$809 once |
| License Tier 5 Agencies with many client sites |

One-time prices on AppSumo; each tier is a licence, with no codes or stacking. GSpeech's own site lists Free ($0, machine voices, 50K credits), Personal $9.99 a month or $99.90 a year (1 site, 100K credits), Pro $39.99 or $399.90 (3 sites, 1M), Business $79.99 or $799.90 (5 sites, 2M) and Enterprise $129.99 or $1,299.90 (10 sites, 5M), plus one-time credit packs from $4.99 for 100K AI credits.
Prices checked Oct 29, 2026 on GSpeech’s own pricing page. Lifetime deals are listings that can end or change, so check the live listing before you buy.
In September 2026 a buyer asked how credits work on a 200-page site. The founder answered that “usage is based on characters, not words or page count,” that credit multipliers “start at 1x,” and that newer AI voice models carry their own multipliers. Credit use “equals the number of characters multiplied by the selected model’s rate.” Two allowances run side by side: AI credits for AI voices and non-AI credits for machine voices. When the AI allowance runs out, “new audio switches to standard machine voices.”
Most people miss the other half of that answer, and it’s the good news. Audio is generated “when a visitor first presses play on a page,” then saved, and “repeated playback of the saved audio doesn’t consume additional generation credits, including in future months.” So credits pay for new and edited pages, not for traffic. Don’t forget the edit part: a February 2026 reviewer noted that when page text changes, GSpeech will “reprocess that page as if it’s a new page,” and the founder confirmed that regeneration uses credits.
Worked examples with the plan limits
GSpeech’s pricing page gives its own yardstick: 100K credits is about 18 website articles of 1,000 words, using its “most credit-efficient voices.” That works out at roughly 5,500 characters per 1,000-word article. Here’s what that means tier by tier, at the 1x rate.
A blogger on Tier 1. 30,000 AI credits divided by 5,500 is about five new 1,000-word articles a month in an AI voice. If you’ve got a back catalogue of 200 posts, the AI voices cover a handful of them each month and the rest fall to machine voices, which have 500,000 credits, or roughly 90 articles. In practice, Tier 1 is a machine-voice plan with a small AI top-up.
The 10,000-word page. The buyer who asked the September question had pages of 10,000 words. At GSpeech’s yardstick that’s about 55,000 characters, which is more than Tier 1’s entire monthly AI allowance for one page. On Tier 2 it uses more than half of the 100,000. Honestly, if your site runs long-form guides, start your sums at Tier 3.
A small publisher on Tier 3. One million AI credits is about 180 new 1,000-word articles a month. Even with a premium voice at a higher multiplier, a site that publishes a few posts a day has room, and the five-site limit covers a main site plus a few others.
An agency on Tier 5. Unlimited websites, but the AI allowance is 2 million a month across the whole account, the same as Tier 4. The founder wrote in September that “generation credits apply across the account.” Twenty client sites share one pool of about 360 articles’ worth of AI audio a month. Count the articles your clients publish before you promise AI voices to all of them.
If you’ve got one site and a weekly post, Tier 1’s numbers are fine. Most people miss the gap when they read “70+ languages” and assume translation is in every tier.
The deal vs GSpeech’s own plans
GSpeech’s own site sells subscriptions, read on 29 October 2026. The deal terms map the tiers to them: “All future Personal (Tier 1), Pro (Tier 2), Business (Tier 3), or Enterprise (Tiers 4-5) Plan updates.”
| GSpeech’s own plan | Monthly | Yearly | Sites | Credits a month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | Up to 10, machine voices only | 50K machine |
| Personal | $9.99 | $99.90 | 1 | 100K, plus 1M machine |
| Pro | $39.99 | $399.90 | 3 | 1M, plus 1M machine |
| Business | $79.99 | $799.90 | 5 | 2M, plus 1M machine |
| Enterprise | $129.99 | $1,299.90 | 10 | 5M, plus 1M machine |
Two things stand out. First, every AppSumo tier costs less once than a single year of the plan it maps to: $69 against $99.90, $159 against $399.90, $339 against $799.90, and $809 against $1,299.90. Second, every AppSumo tier carries fewer AI credits than that plan. Tier 1 has 30,000 where Personal has 100K; Tier 2 has 100,000 where Pro has 1M; Tier 3 has 1M where Business has 2M; Tier 4 has 2M where Enterprise has 5M. The site sizes match, the AI allowance doesn’t.
The feature gating mostly matches too. GSpeech’s own Personal card crosses out play statistics, audio download and real-time translation; Pro adds download and statistics; Business adds translation. One difference: the AppSumo cards tick “Advanced analytics” on every tier, while GSpeech’s own page lists it only on Enterprise. The AppSumo card is what the deal sells, so ask support to confirm it on your tier.
The pages also disagree on languages. The listing says 65 or 70; GSpeech’s own page says its AI engine “covers 98 languages,” with 68 for machine voices. When you serve readers in a smaller language, check it on the voices page before you buy.
If you need more AI audio later, GSpeech sells one-time credit packs that it says “never expire”: 100K AI credits for $4.99, 1M for $29.99 or 10M for $199.99, each with machine credits on top. The page notes that “checkout for some packs is coming soon,” so don’t plan around a pack until you’ve seen it for sale. Tier 5, the founder says, is “an exclusive unlimited-websites offer that is not available as a standard plan on our website.”
What buyers report
The listing shows 4.96 stars from 49 reviews and 366 buyers. The reviews are long and mostly about support.
Support that follows through. An August 2026 reviewer called it “one of the best purchases I’ve made on AppSumo” and praised a team that “went above and beyond.” An April 2026 blogger hit a problem creating their account and said the reply was “fast, friendly, and genuinely helpful.”
Documentation was thin, then improved. An August 2026 reviewer who’d used several text-to-audio tools liked that the system “watches for text and re-renders in the background,” but found the instructions “shallow” for custom widgets and text location. In an update they raised their rating from 4 to 5 tacos after the founder improved the docs, while noting “a slight disconnect” in some field names.
A fix built from feedback. On 29 October 2026, a reviewer running GSpeech on a football site since March 2025 said they’d reported “unwanted audio regeneration,” and the team built a manual update mode so “each page keeps its recording until I choose to update it.”
Setup can be awkward. A February 2026 Tier 5 buyer, a non-profit, reported “some awkwardness with the initial set-up” before they felt comfortable with the options.
Questions to watch. In October 2026 a buyer asked for team logins. The founder replied that team access is planned “soon” for “AppSumo License Tiers 4 and 5.” In September the founder said a direct text-to-speech generator is “included in Tier 5” and “not live yet.” In practice, buy for what exists today, not the roadmap.
The terms
The deal terms read:
- “Lifetime access to GSpeech.”
- “All future Personal (Tier 1), Pro (Tier 2), Business (Tier 3), or Enterprise (Tiers 4-5) Plan updates.”
- “If Plan name changes, deal will be mapped to the new Plan name with all accompanying updates.”
- “No codes, no stacking—just choose the plan that’s right for you.”
- “You must activate your license within 60 days of purchase.”
- “Ability to upgrade between 5 license tiers while the deal is available.”
- “Ability to downgrade between 5 license tiers within 60 days of purchase.”
- “Only for new GSpeech users who do not have existing accounts.”
The listing says “Refundable up to 60 days” and “Covered by our We Got Your Back guarantee.” Nothing on the listing says how long the deal stays up, and the upgrade term only works while it’s live.
GSpeech vs Speechelo and ElevenLabs
The listing names Speechelo as the tool GSpeech replaces, saying it “does the same job for a one-time price.” We didn’t read or price Speechelo for this review, so we can’t compare them feature by feature. One August 2026 reviewer compared GSpeech’s background re-rendering with doing the same job by hand in “something like elevenlabs,” which they called tedious; that’s their experience, and we didn’t price ElevenLabs either. What we can say is how GSpeech is built: it’s a player for web pages first, with downloads as an extra from Tier 2. If you mostly want voiceover files for videos, check whether the generator the founder mentioned is live before you buy.
Common mistakes with the GSpeech deal
Reading “70+ languages” as translation on every tier. Real-time translation starts at Tier 3.
Counting words instead of characters. A 1,000-word article is about 5,500 credits on GSpeech’s own sums, and premium voices use more.
Forgetting edits cost credits. Changing a page’s text regenerates its audio unless you use the manual update mode a buyer described.
Buying with an existing account. The terms say the deal is only for new GSpeech users.
Buying Tier 1 to make MP3s. Audio download isn’t on the Tier 1 card. When you want files, skip the first tier.
Buying Tier 5 for more AI credits. Its AI allowance is 2 million, the same as Tier 4; you pay for unlimited sites and more machine credits.
Who GSpeech suits
A blogger with one site. Tier 1 works if machine voices are acceptable for most pages and you publish a few posts a month.
A publisher with long articles. Tier 3 is the first tier with translation and a seven-figure AI allowance.
An agency. Tier 4 or 5, depending on site count; team access is still a promise.
A video creator after voiceover files. Skip the low tiers; this is a website player first. Honestly, wait for the generator.
How to test it inside the refund window
- Create the account fresh and activate your licence well inside the 60 days.
- Connect one real site and put the player on your longest article.
- Check the credit counter after the first play, so you know your real cost per article and voice. Turns out this one number settles the tier question.
- Edit a page and watch whether it regenerates; try the manual update mode.
- Test your languages and voices on the pages your readers actually visit.
What we couldn’t check
We didn’t listen to the voices, install the player or measure page load. We couldn’t confirm whether “Advanced analytics” on lower AppSumo tiers matches GSpeech’s Enterprise-only advanced analytics, which language count applies to AppSumo buyers, or the exact multipliers for premium voices. Ask support about all three before day 60.
FAQ: GSpeech questions
Is GSpeech a one-time payment on AppSumo?
Yes. Five tiers cost $69, $159, $339, $809 and $1,299 once, read on 29 October 2026, with no codes and no stacking.
How many articles do GSpeech’s AI credits cover?
On GSpeech’s own estimate of about 5,500 characters per 1,000-word article, Tier 1’s 30,000 AI credits cover about five a month, Tier 2’s 100,000 about 18, and Tier 3’s 1 million about 180, at the 1x rate.
Does replaying audio use GSpeech credits?
No, per the founder: saved audio replays without using generation credits. Editing a page’s text regenerates its audio, which does.
Is the GSpeech deal refundable?
Yes. The listing says “Refundable up to 60 days” and “Covered by our We Got Your Back guarantee.”
The verdict
GSpeech is a well-reviewed, actively improved way to add audio to your web pages, and the AppSumo deal is backed by AppSumo’s full guarantee. The catch is the credit line: the low tiers carry far fewer AI credits than GSpeech’s own matching plans, and translation starts at Tier 3. Do the character sums for your own site first; if they fit, the deal is good value, and if they don’t, Tier 3 is where it starts to make sense.
