Bottom line: Jem Social is an influencer and UGC marketing platform from a small Houston team. You search for creators, post a brief they can apply to, agree terms, and pay them through escrow that releases when you approve the work. On AppSumo it sells three tiers, $49, $109 and $209 once, read on 29 October 2026. Jem Social’s own site sells one plan at $69 a month (regularly $99). The catch is in the plan cards: every tier carries the same “50 Monthly finder credits” and “10 Monthly AI searches.” Only creator bookings grow, from 20 to 50 to 150 a month. The listing has 3.2 out of 5 from just 4 reviews, and two of them describe real problems with the creator network. It’s “Refundable up to 60 days,” and the guarantee line reads “Plus members are covered by our We Got Your Back guarantee.”
Best for: small brands and founders who want to run a handful of creator campaigns a month themselves, with contracts and escrow in one place.
Think twice if: you need to search and vet hundreds of creators a month, or you expect the platform to track affiliate sales and pay commissions.
We have no affiliate deal with Jem Social or AppSumo; links go to the official pages. How we review.
Updated 29 October 2026. This Jem Social review rests on what we read that day: the Jem Social listing on AppSumo, including all three tiers, the deal terms, questions and reviews, and Jem Social’s own pricing page plus its home page. We haven’t run a campaign or booked a creator, so we describe the plans, the limits and what buyers report, not response rates or results.

What Jem Social does
Jem Social sits between a brand and the creators it wants to hire. The AppSumo overview splits it into four jobs, and the plan cards tick the same features on all three tiers.
- Finding creators: a searchable creator database, filters by city, niche, audience and rate, “Verified engagement data,” an AI influencer assistant and URL-based matching, where you type your own site’s address and it suggests matches.
- Getting applicants: when you post an opportunity with deliverables, budget and timeline, creators apply to it. A campaign brief generator writes the brief. Jem Social’s home page also describes Autopilot, which “pings 50 vetted creators per batch.”
- Booking and paying: chat, rate negotiation, “Full contracts,” escrow payments, “Auto-release on approval,” “Tax forms handled” and “Refund protection.” Jem Social’s pricing page adds that tax forms cover US creators.
- Tracking: “Real-time revenue tracking,” “Discount code attribution,” “Link click tracking,” “Shopify integration” and “One-click rebook winners.”
The listing names Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok as integrations. Jem Social’s home page says it is “an Instagram and TikTok-approved application” and that its analytics come from those platforms’ data. It names Modash and Upfluence as the tools it’s an alternative to.
One thing worth saying early, because most people miss it: the deal pays for the platform, not the creators. Jem Social’s own pricing FAQ is direct about this: the subscription excludes “Creator fees,” which you fund into escrow per campaign, and it says Jem Social doesn’t take a cut. Its home page suggests starting with “$600/mo creator spend,” and says some brands test with $200-500. Your AppSumo tier doesn’t change that bill.
The limit most people miss: credits don’t grow with the tier
Here’s the line most people miss. The three plan cards read:
- Tier 1 ($49): 20 monthly creator bookings, 50 monthly finder credits, 10 monthly AI searches.
- Tier 2 ($109): 50 monthly creator bookings, 50 monthly finder credits, 10 monthly AI searches.
- Tier 3 ($209): 150 monthly creator bookings, 50 monthly finder credits, 10 monthly AI searches.
So when you pay four times more, you get more bookings but exactly the same amount of search. That matters because search is how you find people to book, unless they come to you through the Opportunity Board.
Buyers noticed. A 27 August 2026 review (3 out of 5) said the credits “are the same no matter what tier you are on,” and that “After a couple of days of light use, my credits are gone.” The founder team’s reply on 31 August, from the account Muhammad_JemSocial, promised three changes: direct links to creators’ social profiles, a cheaper “basic profile view for just a fraction of a credit,” and the ability to buy more credits. They called all three “close to shipping.” The reply also says “A full credit should only go on someone you’ve already decided you want,” which tells you credits are spent when you open creators in full. The plan cards we read on 29 October still show the same 50 and 10 on every tier.
A 9 September 2026 reviewer on Tier 2 asked for the same thing: “more Finder Credits and AI Searches proportional to that allowance” before they’d buy the top tier.
Picking a tier: three worked examples
These use only the plan limits above and Jem Social’s own budget guidance. They assume, as the founder’s reply suggests, that one finder credit goes on each creator you open in full.
A founder testing creators for the first time. You plan four bookings a month, inside the home page’s “$600/mo creator spend” guidance. Tier 1 gives you 20 bookings and 50 credits, so you can open about 12 creators for every one you book. That’s plenty of room. In practice, Tier 1 at $49 is the whole decision here, and it costs less than one month of Jem Social’s own $69 plan.
A shop running 30 bookings a month. Tier 1 caps you at 20, so you’d need Tier 2 at $109. Now you have 50 credits for 30 bookings, under two full profile views per booking. Turns out that’s thin if you vet before you invite. The fix is the Opportunity Board, where applicants come to you, but the August review above says “not a single person met the requirements” out of 20+ applicants. If you’ve got a strict brief, budget time for screening.
An agency planning 100 bookings a month. Only Tier 3 covers it. But 50 credits across 100 bookings means at most one full profile view for every two creators you book. Most of those bookings would have to come from applicants and Autopilot, not search. Honestly, we’d want a written answer from Jem Social on buying extra credits, and on how many brands one account can hold, before paying $209. A buyer asked that second question on 12 October 2026, and we saw no answer.
Plans and prices
The AppSumo tiers, read on 29 October 2026. The listing shows struck-through prices of $828, $2,070 and $4,140; those are the listing’s figures, not savings we’d vouch for. For what it’s worth, $828 is twelve months at Jem Social’s $69 rate.
| AppSumo tier | Price | Bookings a month | Finder credits a month | AI searches a month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| License Tier 1 | $49 once | 20 | 50 | 10 |
| License Tier 2 | $109 once | 50 | 50 | 10 |
| License Tier 3 | $209 once | 150 | 50 | 10 |
| Plan | Price |
|---|---|
| License Tier 1 First creator campaigns |
$49 once |
| License Tier 2 Brands booking 20-50 creators a month |
$109 once |
| License Tier 3 Agencies, high booking volume |
$209 once |
One-time prices on AppSumo, read 29 October 2026; the listing shows struck-through prices of $828, $2,070 and $4,140. Jem Social's own site sells one plan at $69 a month (regularly $99), up to 20 creators a month, 7-day free trial, monthly billing only, no partial refunds on paid months. Creator fees are extra on every plan.
Prices checked Oct 29, 2026 on Jem Social’s own pricing page. Lifetime deals are listings that can end or change, so check the live listing before you buy.
All three show “Lifetime access” and the same feature ticks. The listing calls it a “Limited-time deal,” and the terms allow upgrades only “while the deal is available,” so don’t buy Tier 1 expecting to move up next year.
The deal vs Jem Social’s own plan
Jem Social’s pricing page, read the same day, says “One plan. The whole platform.” It costs $69 a month, “Regularly $99/mo,” with a 7-day free trial, card required, monthly billing only. That plan includes “Up to 20 creators/mo.” For more, the page says, “we’ll build a plan around your team.”
So Tier 1 lines up with the direct plan’s booking count: 20 a month. Tiers 2 and 3 go beyond anything priced on Jem Social’s own site. The pricing page doesn’t mention finder credits or AI searches at all, and its home page promises “Unlimited creator search across 30M+ UGC creators and influencers.” We couldn’t tell from the public pages whether direct subscribers get more credits than AppSumo buyers.
Two disagreements to note, and honestly both are worth raising with support. First, the creator count: the AppSumo plan cards say “250M+,” the AppSumo headline says “30M+ verified creators,” and Jem Social’s own pages say 30M+. Second, bookings: the 9 September reviewer on Tier 2 wrote, “My dashboard also shows 20 monthly Creator Bookings, while the AppSumo listing advertised 50.” We saw no reply to that review. When you buy Tier 2 or 3, check your dashboard on day one.
The terms promise “All future Monthly Brand Plan updates.” Jem Social’s pricing page doesn’t use that name; it describes one monthly plan. That’s most likely the match, but it isn’t stated anywhere we read.
On refunds, AppSumo is the safer place to try it if you’ve never run a creator campaign before. Jem Social’s own FAQ says there’s “no partial refund on paid months” after the trial. AppSumo gives 60 days.
What buyers report
The listing shows 3.2 from 4 reviews: two 4s, one 3 and one 2. That’s a small sample, so skip the average and read the reviews themselves.
A paid tester liked the direction (17 August 2026, 4 out of 5). The reviewer says up front they’re “a paid product tester for AppSumo” and got the tool free. They found it useful for “smaller brands, ecommerce companies, agencies, and founders.” They said early problems, including creator database numbers that were “inconsistent on different pages,” had been fixed, but the “Invite” option in settings still did nothing. Jem Social replied the same day asking for device details.
Credits ran out fast (27 August 2026, 3 out of 5). Covered above. The reply promised paid top-ups and cheaper profile views.
The creator network didn’t respond (31 August 2026, 2 out of 5). This reviewer called the interface clean and the team receptive, but said dozens of direct offers got “zero replies” in two weeks, with no “last active” status to show who’s inactive. They refunded. Jem Social replied on 9 October, five weeks later, saying it expected fixes “by end of month.”
A Tier 2 buyer hit errors (9 September 2026, 4 out of 5). They praised the Opportunity Board, contracts, escrow and the documentation. They also reported the Influencer Finder returning “External API call failed with status: 400,” plus the 20-vs-50 bookings gap.
Questions to watch. On 21 August a buyer asked how to message applicants before accepting them; Jem Social said on 23 August that chat from applications “should ship very soon.” On 17 August Jem Social answered an affiliate question: you can run affiliate offers with tracked links, but “We don’t connect to your store though, so we can’t see your sales or pay commissions.” That sits awkwardly next to the “Shopify integration” and “Real-time revenue tracking” ticks on every tier.
The terms
The deal terms read:
- “Lifetime access to Jem Social.”
- “All future Monthly Brand Plan updates.”
- “If Plan name changes, deal will be mapped to the new Plan name with all accompanying updates.”
- “No codes, no stacking—just choose the plan that’s right for you.”
- “You must activate your license within 60 days of purchase.”
- “Ability to upgrade between 3 license tiers while the deal is available.”
- “Ability to downgrade between 3 license tiers within 60 days of purchase.”
The guarantee line reads “Plus members are covered by our We Got Your Back guarantee,” so if you’re not an AppSumo Plus member, that cover doesn’t apply to you. The refund line reads “Refundable up to 60 days.” The listing shows the company was founded on 10 May 2023 in Houston, Texas, with 1-10 people, at the pre-seed stage.
Jem Social vs Modash and Upfluence
The listing names Modash and Upfluence as the tools Jem Social replaces. We didn’t price Modash or Upfluence for this review, and we didn’t read their pages, so we won’t compare features. Jem Social’s own pricing page puts enterprise creator tools at “$400–$2,000+” a month; that’s the vendor’s figure, not ours. The real difference we can describe is in shape: Jem Social bundles booking, contracts and escrow payments into the same account as search. If all you need is a creator database for research, a search-first tool may suit you better, and this deal’s 50 monthly credits would be the bottleneck anyway.
Common mistakes with the Jem Social deal
Buying a higher tier for more search. Tiers 2 and 3 add bookings only. Credits and AI searches stay at 50 and 10.
Forgetting creator fees. Don’t forget the deal covers the software. Creators are paid separately, through escrow.
Expecting affiliate commission payouts. Per the founder team’s own answer, Jem Social tracks links and content, but your affiliate program handles sales and commissions.
Not checking the booking count. One Tier 2 buyer’s dashboard showed 20, not 50. Don’t skip this check; do it the day you activate.
Counting on promised features. Credit top-ups, cheaper profile views and pre-booking chat were all “close to shipping” or “very soon” in August. Judge the product as it is on the day you buy.
Skipping the activation date. You must activate within 60 days, the same length as the refund window. Activate on day one so your testing time isn’t wasted.
Who Jem Social suits
A founder or small brand new to creators. Tier 1 is cheap, and 20 bookings a month is more than most first campaigns need.
A brand that prefers inbound pitches. If you’ve got a clear brief and would rather pick from applicants, the credit cap matters less.
A team that needs heavy search. Skip the deal unless Jem Social confirms extra credits are on sale. In practice, 50 credits a month is a light research budget.
An affiliate-led program. It can run the offers, but you’ll still need separate sales tracking.
How to test it inside the refund window
- Activate on day one and check that the dashboard shows the bookings, credits and AI searches your tier promises.
- Track your credit spend for a week. Note how many credits each creator view uses, and how many are left after normal use.
- Send ten direct offers in your niche and count the replies within a week.
- Post one real opportunity with a strict brief, and count how many applicants actually meet it.
- Run a small paid booking through escrow, approve it, and confirm the funds release and the tax form steps work for your creators.
What we couldn’t check
We didn’t book creators, fund escrow or measure response rates. Jem Social’s help documentation at app.jem.social/docs didn’t load as readable text for us, so we couldn’t confirm exactly what a finder credit buys or whether extra credits are on sale yet. We couldn’t confirm whether direct subscribers get the same credit limits, what the “Shopify integration” tracks given the founder team’s answer about store sales, or how many brands one account can hold. Don’t forget to settle those with support in writing before day 60.
FAQ: Jem Social questions
How much is Jem Social on AppSumo?
On 29 October 2026, $49 once for License Tier 1, $109 for Tier 2 and $209 for Tier 3. Jem Social’s own site charges $69 a month (regularly $99).
Do higher Jem Social tiers get more search credits?
No. All three tiers show 50 monthly finder credits and 10 monthly AI searches. Only monthly creator bookings rise, from 20 to 50 to 150.
Does the Jem Social deal include payments to creators?
No. You fund creator fees separately into escrow per campaign; Jem Social’s own FAQ says it doesn’t take a cut of those.
Is the Jem Social deal refundable?
Yes. The listing says “Refundable up to 60 days.” Its guarantee line reads “Plus members are covered by our We Got Your Back guarantee.”
The verdict
Jem Social puts creator search, briefs, contracts and escrow payouts in one place, and Tier 1 costs less than a single month of the direct plan. That’s a fair deal for a small brand running a few campaigns. The weak spots are the ones buyers flagged: the same 50 finder credits on every tier, a creator network one reviewer found unresponsive, and a booking count one Tier 2 buyer couldn’t match. Buy Tier 1 if the workflow fits, check your limits on day one, and use the 60 days to test real outreach before you rely on it.
