LeadRocks review: the credits are generous, the fresh contacts are the real limit

LeadRocks is a B2B contact database with enrichment, an email verifier and outreach seats. AppSumo sells 5,000 contact credits a month for $79 once, the same as its $145-a-month Growth plan. Most 2026 reviews report outdated data.

Sales teams, recruiters, marketing agencies

Bottom line: LeadRocks is a B2B contact database from a small team in Tallinn, Estonia. You search it by job title, company, location, industry and team size, then spend a credit to reveal one person’s email, phone number and LinkedIn profile. On AppSumo, one code costs $79 once and gives 5,000 contact credits a month, which is what LeadRocks’ own Growth plan sells for $145 a month. On paper that’s a very cheap deal. The catch is the data itself: six of the seven reviews posted on the listing between June and October 2026 rate it 1 or 2 tacos, mostly for outdated contacts and bounced emails. The listing is “Covered by our We Got Your Back guarantee” and refundable up to 60 days, so you can test it properly before you’re stuck with it.

Best for: sales teams, recruiters and agencies who already verify every list in a separate tool and want a large, cheap monthly pool of contacts to filter.

Think twice if: you need fresh, ready-to-send emails out of the box, a CRM integration, or an API to pull leads automatically.

Updated 29 October 2026. This LeadRocks review rests on what we read that day: the LeadRocks listing on AppSumo, including every code tier, the deal terms, the founder posts, the questions and the 20 newest reviews, and LeadRocks’ own site with its pricing table and FAQ. We haven’t pulled leads or sent email with it, so we describe the plans, the limits and what buyers report, not bounce rates we measured.

What LeadRocks does

LeadRocks is a web app with a prospecting database, an enrichment tool, an email verifier, a basic outreach tool and a Chrome extension for LinkedIn. The listing calls it “a reliable B2B contact database with 100M+ records, emails, phone numbers, and LinkedIns.” The deal’s feature list covers:

  • Prospecting: search “by job title, company name or URL, location, industry, or team size,” and “One credit reveals all contact data of one person.”
  • Enrichment: upload a list of LinkedIn URLs and get back emails, phone numbers and other details.
  • Lists and export: save results to LeadRocks lists and export them to CSV.
  • Verification: an email verifier in the dashboard, with “API access for email verification.”
  • Outreach: email campaigns with scheduled follow-ups, once you hold two or more codes.
  • Chrome extension: pulls emails and phone numbers from LinkedIn profile pages.

In April 2026 a LeadRocks team member answered a buyer with a slightly longer filter list: job title, company name or URL, country, industry, team size, revenue range and total funding. They also said the database covers “150+ countries.”

What it doesn’t do matters too. Both the AppSumo FAQ and LeadRocks’ own FAQ say it doesn’t integrate with any CRM yet; you export a CSV and import it. And in July 2025 the team wrote that “Currently API is available only for the email verification.” A December 2025 reply put an email-finder API on the “roadmap for 2026, however there is no exact estimate date yet.” In June 2026 a buyer asked for an update on that API. We found no reply.

The limit most people miss: fresh contacts, not credits

Here’s what most people miss with this deal. The plan cards talk about credits, and the credits are generous: 5,000 a month per code, renewing every month for life. But a credit only reveals a record that’s already in the database. If the records in your niche are old, extra credits don’t make them newer, and a reviewer in October 2026 put it bluntly: “even if the credits renew, the lists don’t.”

That reviewer bought 3 codes and pulled 10,445 contacts in venture capital and private equity. They say all of them passed LeadRocks’ own verification. After they removed records with no website, no email, a team size of zero or the wrong industry, 1,235 were left. A second check in an outside verifier left 389. Their sum: about 3.7% of what they pulled was usable, and they couldn’t pull a fresh 10,000 in that industry because LeadRocks “ran out of new contacts.”

Other recent buyers report the same pattern. A September 2026 reviewer wrote that the records “seem to be at least four years old.” An August 2026 buyer with two codes said bounce rates “have steadily gone up,” while also saying LeadRocks does “deliver the promised volume.” A June 2026 reviewer said “more than 60% of the emails were invalid and bounced.”

When you compare tiers, treat the credit count as a ceiling, not a forecast. In practice, the number that matters is how many valid, relevant contacts you get per thousand credits in your own market, and only a test can tell you that.

The plans, code by code

AppSumo sells LeadRocks as stacked codes. The listing’s plan table shows the first four:

One-time prices on AppSumo, read 29 October 2026; the selector runs from 1 code ($79) to 10 codes ($790, 50,000 credits a month). LeadRocks' own site lists Free $0 (50 credits), Starter $29, Growth $145 (5,000 credits), Professional $290 (10,000 credits, 1 seat) and Enterprise $580 (20,000 credits, 2 seats) per month.

Prices checked Oct 29, 2026 on LeadRocks’s own pricing page. Lifetime deals are listings that can end or change, so check the live listing before you buy.

The selector keeps going to 10 codes for $790, which shows 50,000 contact credits, 5 email marketing seats and 50,000 verification credits a month. The pattern is simple: every code adds 5,000 contact credits, and every second code adds an outreach seat. Verification credits start at the second code. All tiers include the database, search, LinkedIn URL enrichment, the email verification API, contact storage, CSV export and “Access to guides and webinars.”

Don’t forget the one-code gap. With a single code you get no outreach seat and no verification credits. LeadRocks’ own pricing describes verification credits as being “for emails found outside LeadRocks,” and the founder’s September 2023 update said that verifying contacts generated by LeadRocks “costs no credits.” A buyer asked in September 2026 whether that still holds, and whether API verification uses the same credits. Neither question had an answer when we checked.

Picking a plan: three worked examples

A freelancer testing cold email. One code gives 5,000 credits a month, or 60,000 a year. If your yield matched the October 2026 reviewer’s 3.7%, that’s about 185 usable contacts a month. If it matched the 18% another buyer reported in October 2025, it’s about 900. Honestly, that range is the whole decision. Spend your first month of credits finding out where you sit.

A small agency sending its own campaigns. You’d want at least 2 codes ($158) for one outreach seat and 10,000 verification credits a month. Four codes ($316) give two seats and 20,000 credits a month. If you’ve got a separate sending tool already, skip the seats and judge the deal on credits alone.

A recruiter enriching LinkedIn lists. Enrichment uses the same credits. If you’ve already got LinkedIn URLs from your own searches, one code covers 5,000 lookups a month, and the Chrome extension shows details on profile pages. Turns out this is where some buyers are happiest, because you choose the people and LeadRocks only fills in the contact details.

The deal vs LeadRocks’ own plans

LeadRocks’ own site sells monthly subscriptions, read on 29 October 2026:

LeadRocks planPriceMonthly creditsOutreach seatsVerification credits
Free$050None listedNone listed
Starter$29 a month1,000None listedNone listed
Growth$145 a month5,000None listedNone listed
Professional$290 a month10,000110,000
Enterprise$580 a month20,000220,000

Every paid plan lists unlimited users, enrichment, the LinkedIn extension, and emails and phone numbers. The match is exact. One code lines up with Growth, two codes with Professional, and four codes with Enterprise. The deal terms promise “All future Growth Plan updates,” which fits the one-code tier.

The listing’s own data sets an “original price” of $1,740 for one code, which is twelve months of Growth at $145. That’s the listing’s comparison, not a saving we’d count on. The honest comparison is that $79 once buys what LeadRocks sells for $145 a month, so the deal pays for itself in the first month if you’d otherwise subscribe. Whether you’d subscribe at all depends on the data, which brings us back to the reviews.

The listing also points to a separate “LeadRocks – Plus exclusive” deal for AppSumo Plus members, which it says “offers both increased contact & email verification credits per month.” We didn’t read that listing for this review.

What buyers report

The listing shows 4.45 stars from 373 reviews, with 292 at five tacos and 31 at one taco. That average leans on older reviews. The deal has run since 2022, and the founder’s intro post is dated June 2022. The 20 newest reviews we read, from February 2025 to October 2026, are far more negative.

The data-age complaint dominates. Besides the reviews above, a July 2026 buyer with two codes said many results “were simply employees” rather than owners or decision-makers when they searched medical practices. An October 2025 reviewer searched for business owners in Rhode Island and said that of 17,775 records downloaded, “only 56 were in RI.” A January 2026 reviewer selling to UK universities found many education leads out of date and “a lot of duplicate leads.”

Filters and export. Several buyers mention missing US state filters, a limited industry filter (“we cant search for Home Services”), and saving 500 records at a time. The October 2025 reviewer added that each list holds up to 5,000 results.

The good reports exist. A March 2026 buyer on two codes wrote that “The leads are accurate, easy to grab, and simple to organize.” A January 2026 reviewer said “There are real leads here and a lot of them,” and praised live support. A June 2026 buyer called it “fast to fetch results, generous with the data/searches,” while finding the interface dated.

Support has gone quiet on the listing. Team members answered questions through April 2026; the last reply we found is dated 27 April 2026. Six questions posted since June 2026, about the API, verification credits, the outreach tiers, the Chrome extension’s export button and data quality, had no answer on 29 October 2026. A July 2026 reviewer also said that writing to the address that sent their login PIN came back as invalid.

The terms

The deal terms read:

  • “Lifetime access to LeadRocks.”
  • “All future Growth Plan updates.”
  • “If Plan name changes, deal will be mapped to the new Plan name with all accompanying updates.”
  • “You must redeem your code(s) within 60 days of purchase.”
  • “Stack unlimited codes.”
  • “Previous AppSumo customers who purchased LeadRocks can buy more codes to increase their feature limits.”
  • “Previous AppSumo customers will be grandfathered into the new feature limits.”

The listing reads “Refundable up to 60 days” and “Covered by our We Got Your Back guarantee,” with the line “Carefully selected by AppSumo for quality, performance, and support.” The terms say “Stack unlimited codes,” but the selector we saw stopped at 10.

LeadRocks vs Apollo, Lusha and ZoomInfo

The listing names Apollo, Lusha and ZoomInfo as the tools LeadRocks is an alternative to. We didn’t price any of them for this review, and we haven’t compared their data. What we can say from the pages we read: LeadRocks sells a one-time price with monthly credits, has no CRM integration, and offers an API only for email verification. If you’ve used one of those tools and rely on a CRM sync or an enrichment API, LeadRocks won’t replace that workflow today. If you only need a CSV of contacts to verify and load into your own sender, it covers the basic job.

Common mistakes with the LeadRocks deal

Judging the deal by credits alone. Credits renew monthly; fresh records in your niche may not. Measure usable contacts per thousand.

Sending without your own verification. Several buyers say records passed LeadRocks’ check and still bounced elsewhere. Don’t trust a single pass; run a second verifier before any campaign.

Buying one code for outreach. If you’ve bought a single code to send campaigns, you’ll find no outreach seat and no verification credits. You need two.

Expecting a CRM sync or a lead API. Neither exists on the pages we read. When you need automation, plan for CSV exports.

Assuming US state targeting. Many people miss this until after checkout: buyers report no state filter for the US. Check your geography in the free account first.

Waiting past day 60. Redeem straight away and run your real test in the first few weeks, while the refund is still open.

Who LeadRocks suits

A cold emailer with a strong verification habit. If you’ve got a verifier and a sender already, cheap monthly credits are useful even at a low yield.

A recruiter enriching chosen profiles. LinkedIn URL enrichment and the Chrome extension put LeadRocks to work on people you’ve already picked.

A small team wanting outreach in one place. Two or four codes add seats and verification credits.

Anyone who needs ready-to-send, current data. Skip the deal, or test hard first. That’s where most recent complaints sit.

How to test it inside the refund window

  1. Start with LeadRocks’ free account (50 credits) and search your exact market before you buy.
  2. Pull 500 contacts in your core niche, then run them through an outside verifier and note the valid share. In practice, 500 records is enough to see the pattern.
  3. Check job titles and locations by hand on 50 records to see if they’re the decision-makers you want.
  4. Confirm your credits applied. A July 2026 buyer saw 50 monthly credits, the free plan’s figure, after buying; ask support at once if that happens.
  5. Send a small test campaign from a warmed-up domain and track bounces before scaling.

What we couldn’t check

We didn’t pull leads, verify emails or send campaigns, so we can’t give a bounce rate or a data-age figure of our own. We couldn’t confirm whether verifying LeadRocks’ own contacts still costs no credits, how API verification is billed, or what the separate Plus exclusive listing adds. LeadRocks’ pricing page at /pricing loads its content in the browser and showed no text when fetched, so we used the pricing table on its homepage. Settle the credit questions with support before day 60.

FAQ: LeadRocks questions

Is LeadRocks a one-time payment on AppSumo?

Yes. One code is $79 once for 5,000 contact credits a month, and you can stack codes; the selector runs to 10 codes for $790.

Does the LeadRocks lifetime deal include email outreach?

Only from 2 codes. Two or three codes include 1 email marketing seat, four codes include 2, and one code includes none.

Does LeadRocks integrate with a CRM?

Not on the pages we read. Both FAQs say there’s no CRM integration yet; you export to CSV and import it.

Is LeadRocks data up to date?

The team said in June 2025 the database “is updated on a daily basis.” Most reviews from June to October 2026 report old records and high bounce rates, so test your own niche inside the refund window.

The verdict

LeadRocks is a cheap way to get a large monthly pool of B2B contacts: $79 once for the credits LeadRocks sells at $145 a month, with AppSumo’s guarantee and a 60-day refund behind it. The trouble is that the pool’s freshness is what you’re really buying, and recent buyers mostly say it falls short, while questions on the listing have gone unanswered since June 2026. Honestly, buy one code only as a test, verify everything outside LeadRocks, and refund it if your usable share is too small.
