Bottom line: Unmixr AI bundles text to speech, transcription, dubbing, document translation and a set of writing tools into one web app. On AppSumo, it sells for one payment of $79 to $316, and its credits refresh every month, which is rarer than it should be on lifetime deals. The voice studio is the reason to buy it. The caveats are in the terms: the listing is “Not covered by We Got Your Back,” it says it was “not reviewed by AppSumo,” and the update promise names only the “Standard Plan.” Buy it inside the 60-day refund window, use it hard, and decide.
Best for: YouTubers, course makers and podcasters who need a lot of voiceover every month.
Think twice if: you need voice cloning or API access on a small budget, or fast, guaranteed support.
We have no affiliate deal with Unmixr or AppSumo; links go to the official pages. How we review.
Updated 29 October 2026. This Unmixr AI review rests on what we read that day: the Unmixr AI listing on AppSumo, including the founder’s answers in its questions, and Unmixr’s own pricing page. We haven’t produced an audiobook or dubbed a course with it, so we describe what each plan includes and what the terms say, not how the voices sound after a hundred hours of use.

What Unmixr AI does
Unmixr is a toolbox built around voice. According to the listing, it covers:
- Text to speech, with up to 1,300 voices, emotion and pitch controls, a pronunciation library and long-form audio of up to 200k characters in one request.
- Dialogue Studio, for scripting scenes with several voices.
- Transcription, from audio or video files of up to 5 GB, with speaker labels, subtitle tools and exports to text, DOCX, SRT and VTT.
- Dubbing, which turns audio or video into other languages.
- Document translation that keeps formatting.
- Writing tools and a chatbot, with models that vary by plan, plus an image studio.
Its homepage now leads with something else again: turning slides and scripts into narrated training videos. That’s a sign of a team still shipping, and a reminder that the product you buy today may change shape. In practice, buy it for what it does now.
What a credit buys
Credits are the number that decides which plan you need, so start here. Unmixr’s pricing page is clear about its own subscriptions: “1 credit = 1 voiceover character.” Transcription costs 240 credits per minute of media and dubbing 1,920 credits per minute; cloned voices also cost 1 credit per character. The page also says “your monthly plan credits refresh with each billing cycle.”
The AppSumo listing gives Plan 1 “300k credits per month.” It doesn’t restate the rates, so we can’t promise they’re identical for lifetime buyers. Assuming they are, 300k credits is 300,000 characters of voiceover a month. Spoken at a normal pace, that’s somewhere around five hours of narration, which is our rough estimate, not Unmixr’s figure. Or it’s about 1,250 minutes of transcription. Not both, since the credits are one balance.
The listing also gives each plan separate monthly dubbing hours: 2 on Plan 1, 5 on Plan 2, 8 on Plan 3. When you check your account during the refund window, look at whether dubbing draws on those hours or on credits. That’s the question most people miss.

One-time prices on AppSumo; each plan is a number of stacked codes (1 to 4). Unmixr's own subscriptions start with Lite at $9 a month or $90 a year.
Prices checked Oct 29, 2026 on Unmixr AI’s own pricing page. Lifetime deals are listings that can end or change, so check the live listing before you buy.
Plan 1 ($79). 300k credits and 300k writing words a month, 2 hours of dubbing, 1,000 voices in 104 languages, emotional voices, background music, full commercial rights, a chatbot limited to smaller models, and 10 images a month.
Plan 2 ($158). Doubles the credits to 600k, adds 5 hours of dubbing, 1,300 voices, the multilingual voices, add-ons, a wider chatbot model list, 100K GPT-4 words a month and 25 images.
Plan 3 ($237). 1 million credits and writing words a month, 8 hours of dubbing, 200K GPT-4 words, sound-effect uploads, credit purchases, 50 images and 2 document translations a month. The founder confirms on the listing that “AppSumo T3 and T4 have access to API,” and the overview says voice cloning in 13 languages is on T3 and T4.
Plan 4 ($316). Here’s an oddity. The listing says “See all 4 plans,” and the plan picker shows Plan 4 at $316, but on the day we checked, its card wasn’t on the page. The only hint is the summary line, which mentions “up to 5” document translations a month. Don’t buy Plan 4 on a guess. Ask in the listing’s questions first.
The terms, and the update promise
The deal terms on the listing are short:
- “Lifetime access to Unmixr AI”
- “You must redeem your code(s) within 60 days of purchase”
- “All future Standard Plan updates”
- “Stack up to 4 codes”
- “Access to all future AI models”
Two of those deserve a second look. The update promise names one plan, “Standard,” and the plan cards don’t use that name at all; they say Plan 1 to Plan 4. In a founder answer from October 2026, the AppSumo tiers are called Standard, Premium, Pro and Ultra, and a feature, PowerPoint to video, is described as included “on the AppSumo Premium, Pro and Ultra tiers (not Standard).” So the tiers already differ in which new features they get. Honestly, if a feature you need isn’t on your tier today, don’t assume it will be.
The same answer adds that “each video is capped at 15 minutes / 80 slides” on the lifetime tiers, with longer decks needing a paid add-on.
The guarantee line
The listing carries this line under the buy button: “Not covered by We Got Your Back. Listed by the partner, not reviewed by AppSumo.” It also says “Refundable up to 60 days,” and the terms add “60 day money-back guarantee.”
So you can still get your money back within 60 days. What you don’t get is AppSumo’s own vetting or its extra guarantee, which some listings carry and this one doesn’t. Treat the refund window as your only safety net, and use it.
Support, from what buyers say
The listing links a Discord, a support email, an FAQ and a product roadmap, and the founder answers questions directly. That’s more than many listings offer.
One buyer’s question from October 2026 is worth knowing about all the same: “My support ticket of 2 months ago is still unanswered.” The founder replied two days later asking for the ticket number. Another Ultra-tier buyer reported a favourite voice locked behind a rate-limit error, and was asked whether they’d contacted support on Discord or by ticket. One public thread proves nothing either way. It does tell you to test support yourself, early.
Unmixr AI lifetime deal vs subscribing
Unmixr’s own subscriptions start with Lite at $9 a month or $90 a year, then Starter, Pro and Business. Plan 1 on AppSumo costs $79 once. When you’d otherwise subscribe at any level, the lifetime plan pays for itself inside a year. It turns out the comparison is only fair if the credit allowances match, and the two pages don’t list them side by side, so compare your own monthly usage against each one before deciding.
Who Unmixr AI suits
A YouTuber who narrates every video. Plan 1 or Plan 2, depending on how much script you voice a month. Use the 300k-characters figure as your yardstick.
A course creator who wants their own voice. Voice cloning starts at Plan 3, so budget for $237, not $79.
A developer building voice into an app. API access is on Plans 3 and 4 only. Read the API docs before buying.
A podcaster who needs transcripts. Any plan works, but remember transcription minutes come out of the same credit balance as voiceover.
How to test it inside the refund window
- Redeem the code the day you buy. The terms give you 60 days to redeem.
- Voice a real script of the length you’d normally produce, and note the credits it used.
- Transcribe a real recording and check the speaker labels and the subtitle export.
- Open a support ticket with a genuine question, and time the reply.
- Check whether the voices you need are available on your tier, without rate limits.
When anything there fails you, refund before day 60. If you’ve measured all five, you’ll know more than any review can tell you, including this one.
What we couldn’t check
We didn’t listen to the voices side by side with rivals, so we make no claims about how natural they sound; samples on Unmixr’s site are the place to judge that, ideally with headphones and a script of your own. We didn’t measure transcription accuracy on accented or noisy recordings either, and that varies more than any vendor admits. When you test, use your worst audio, not your cleanest. We also couldn’t confirm whether lifetime credits follow the subscription rates exactly, or what Plan 4 contains. Don’t trust either answer until Unmixr gives it to you in writing.
FAQ: Unmixr AI questions
Is Unmixr AI a one-time payment on AppSumo?
Yes: $79, $158, $237 or $316 once, for 1 to 4 stacked codes, with credits that refresh every month.
Which Unmixr plan has voice cloning?
Plans 3 and 4, according to the listing. The API is on the same two tiers.
What is an Unmixr credit?
On Unmixr’s pricing page, 1 credit is 1 voiceover character; transcription uses 240 credits per minute.
Is the Unmixr deal covered by AppSumo’s guarantee?
No. It’s “Not covered by We Got Your Back,” but it is refundable up to 60 days.
The verdict
Unmixr AI is a lot of tool for one payment, and the monthly credits make it more than a novelty: a creator who narrates every week can lean on it. The things to weigh are all in writing. AppSumo hasn’t reviewed it, the update promise names only the Standard plan, Plan 4’s card is missing, and at least one buyer has waited months on support. Buy the plan your monthly characters require, run a real month of work through it in the first 60 days, and keep it only if it holds up.
