Vocable AI review: the cheapest tier plans content it can't publish

Vocable AI plans and drafts 30-day content campaigns in your brand voice, from $89 once on AppSumo. Tier 1 has no channel integrations and no brand intelligence hub, and Tier 2 is capped at five brands and five campaigns. What each tier buys, and how it stacks up against Vocable's monthly plans.

Bottom line: Vocable AI takes a topic or business goal and turns it into a 30-day content campaign, then drafts the posts in a brand voice it learns from your website and social accounts. On AppSumo it sells three lifetime licences, $89, $189 and $399, read on 29 October 2026. The detail to read before buying is the Tier 1 card: it crosses out “Channel integrations” and “Brand intelligence hub,” the two features the listing leads with. So the $89 tier writes and plans, but it can’t publish to WordPress or LinkedIn, and it doesn’t get the social-scraping brand profile. Tier 2 gets both but stops at five brands and five campaigns. Only Tier 3 is unlimited. The listing is “Covered by our We Got Your Back guarantee” and “Refundable up to 60 days.”

Best for: consultants, coaches and small marketing teams who publish written content on a schedule and want the plan, the drafts and the publishing in one place.

Think twice if: you need images or video, you only write the odd post, or you were hoping the cheapest tier would post for you. If you’ve only got one channel and a habit of writing on the fly, skip the deal.

Updated 29 October 2026. This Vocable AI review rests on what we read that day: the Vocable AI listing on AppSumo, including all three plans, the deal terms, the founder’s posts, questions and reviews, plus Vocable’s own pricing page and its MCP connector page. We haven’t generated a campaign with it, so we describe the plans, the limits and what buyers report, not the quality of the writing.

What Vocable AI does

Vocable calls itself a content operations platform rather than a writing assistant, and the difference is the starting point. When you open a chatbot, you write one prompt and get one post. When you open Vocable, you give it a goal or topic, pick one or more channels, and it lays out a month of post ideas, each with a brief and a draft. The listing describes the parts like this:

  • Campaign planning: a 30-day, channel-specific flow of content ideas, shown in kanban, list and calendar views, with each post tied to a business goal.
  • Brand training: it scans your website for tone, messaging, positioning and audience, scrapes your social channels, and builds what it calls a “Brand DNA fingerprint.” You can upload guidelines and past content to sharpen it.
  • An AI editor: a brief per post, AI suggestions as you write, and highlight-to-rewrite actions named Humanize, Shorten, Rewrite, Expand and Clarify. The founder’s September 2026 letter says the editor offers 12 models and keeps a version history of every generation.
  • Review before publishing: a document health score for readability and structure, an AI-detection check, and a brand-alignment check. Keyword research runs inside the campaign; the MCP page says it’s “powered by Semrush.”
  • Publishing: the founder’s letter names WordPress, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Webflow and Wix, with previews and scheduling, and says Instagram and TikTok publishing is “coming soon.”
  • An MCP connector that lets Claude plan, draft and publish inside your Vocable account.

The listing’s own FAQ is clear about what it isn’t: “The platform does not produce graphics, images, or videos.” It’s text only, so when you plan a carousel or a short video, the visuals still come from somewhere else. For LinkedIn, the FAQ adds that you can publish posts directly but not articles, because LinkedIn’s API “only allows for posts publishing.”

Two numbers on the pages don’t match, and neither is a dealbreaker. The listing’s overview promises “30+ AI templates,” while the founder’s letter on the same page says “350+ templates across 17 content types.” The listing letter says the MCP connector has “41 tools,” and Vocable’s own MCP page says 38. In practice, take the lower figures as the floor.

The Tier 1 limit most people miss

Most people miss this one because the headline pitch sits above the plan cards. The listing opens with “Train Vocable AI on your brand voice” and lists LinkedIn, Twitter, Webflow, Wix and WordPress as integrations. Then the Tier 1 card puts a cross next to four features:

  • “Multimedia prompting,” with the tooltip “(Claude, GPT, Gemini) in smart entry editor”
  • “Collaboration features”
  • “Channel integrations”
  • “Brand intelligence hub”

So on the $89 tier you get campaign planning, templates, drafts, keyword research, document health scoring and the editor’s AI chat, one brand voice and two campaigns. You don’t get direct publishing, the multi-model choice in the editor, or the hub that scrapes your social channels. A buyer put it bluntly in a question dated 27 September 2026: “Tier 1 won’t let you post your generated content anywhere.” We found no reply from Vocable to that question on the listing.

One more wrinkle. Vocable’s own Basic plan lists “1 Brand intelligence” among its features, while the AppSumo Tier 1 card crosses out “Brand intelligence hub” and gives “Brand voices 1.” We couldn’t work out from the pages how much of the website scan Tier 1 keeps. Honestly, if the brand profile is the reason you’re buying, ask support before you pick Tier 1, or start at Tier 2.

One-time prices on AppSumo, read 29 October 2026; the listing shows struck-through prices of $360, $948 and $1,548. No codes or stacking; upgrades between tiers while the deal is available. Vocable's own site lists Basic $35, Pro $69 and Business $139 a month, or $20, $41 and $99 a month billed yearly, each with a 3-day trial.

Prices checked Oct 29, 2026 on Vocable AI’s own pricing page. Lifetime deals are listings that can end or change, so check the live listing before you buy.

Every tier ticks MCP, AI-powered content planning, AI templates, AI-generated drafts, keyword research, document health scoring and the smart editor with AI chat. A Vocable team member confirmed on 22 September 2026 that “The MCP is included already in all Tiers without any additional upgrades.”

What does “2 campaigns” mean? The card doesn’t say whether it counts campaigns you’ve ever made or campaigns running at once. The founder’s update of 1 May 2025 says Tier 1 was upgraded “to now support up to 2 active campaigns simultaneously,” which reads like a limit on active campaigns, not a lifetime total. Turns out that matters a lot for value, so confirm it in writing during the refund window.

The deal vs Vocable’s own plans

Vocable sells three subscriptions on its own site. Read on 29 October 2026:

Vocable’s own planMonthly billingYearly billingMain limits
Basic$35 a month$20 a month2 campaigns, 1 brand intelligence, 1 user
Pro$69 a month$41 a monthUnlimited campaigns and brands, multi-model editor, channel integrations
Business$139 a month$99 a monthEverything in Pro, 4 user accounts, collaboration, 1:1 calls with the founder

The deal terms map the tiers to these plans: “All future Basic (Tier 1) or Pro (Tier 2-3) Plan updates.” Tier 1 lines up with Basic almost exactly. Tier 2 and Tier 3 both get Pro updates, but they aren’t the same as Pro: Tier 2 is capped at five brands and five campaigns, where Pro is unlimited. Tier 3 matches Pro’s unlimited caps and adds three seats and collaboration, which on Vocable’s own site belong to Business.

That cap caused friction earlier this year. In February 2026 a Tier 2 buyer asked why Vocable was emailing an “Unlimited Lifetime Pro Plan – $69” upgrade if the deal included all future Pro updates. Vocable’s reply, from a team member named Luna, drew the line: “your 5 brand/5 campaign limit” doesn’t become unlimited, but feature updates do reach Tier 2. The founder added that “Nothing has changed for people with appsumo tiers.” So don’t forget: the caps on the card are the caps you keep, and a lifting of them may be sold separately.

Picking a plan: worked examples

These sums use only the prices and limits on the two pages. They assume you’d otherwise pay Vocable yearly, which is its cheaper option.

A solo consultant writing for LinkedIn and a blog. Two channels, one brand. If you build one campaign per channel, Tier 1’s two campaigns cover it, and $89 equals about four and a half months of Basic at $20 a month. But Tier 1 can’t publish, so every LinkedIn post and blog draft gets copied across by hand. If you’ve got a WordPress site you post to weekly, honestly, that copy-paste step is what Tier 2 removes.

A coach running three channels. LinkedIn, a newsletter and a blog, one brand. Three channel-specific campaigns already break Tier 1. Tier 2’s five campaigns fit, with the integrations included. At $189 it costs about the same as four and a half months of Pro billed yearly ($41 a month, $492 a year). The catch is that Pro is unlimited and Tier 2 isn’t, so this works only while you stay at five campaigns.

A small agency with four clients. Four brands fits Tier 2’s five. But two channels per client is eight campaigns, which doesn’t. Tier 3 at $399 removes both caps and adds three seats. Vocable’s own Business plan, with four user accounts, costs $99 a month billed yearly, or $1,188 a year, so Tier 3 costs about four months of it. If the three seats are on top of your own login, as “additional” suggests, that’s four people, matching Business.

Someone who already writes with ChatGPT or Claude. Skip the deal if what you want is better sentences. The case for Vocable is the plan, the calendar and the publishing; the drafts come from the same kinds of models you can already use.

In practice, most buyers who publish anywhere will end up on Tier 2 or above, because publishing is the point of a 30-day plan.

What buyers report

The listing shows 4.19 stars from 53 reviews: 36 five-taco, 5 four-taco, 2 three-taco, 6 two-taco and 4 one-taco. Vocable’s own pricing page says “4.6/5 Top-Rated on AppSumo,” which doesn’t match the 4.19 we read on the listing. Many reviews date from the 2025 campaigns; this is Vocable’s return to AppSumo.

The planning is the draw. A 4-taco review from 25 September 2026, by a reviewer who discloses being “a paid product tester for AppSumo,” says ChatGPT can write a single post, but planning a month that fits your brand “takes more work,” and that’s what Vocable does. They add a fair warning: “treat the generated campaign as a plan to work from.”

Text only, with editing needed. A 3-taco review from September 2025 says the buyer asked for a refund after two hours. The output was “text, only text,” sometimes switched from German to English, and contained notes like “picture of a happy person” that had to be removed. The founder replied that Vocable is for planned, multi-channel campaigns, not one-off posts, and that image generation is planned.

Bugs at relaunch. A 1-taco review from 28 November 2025 reported a “Network error” that blocked all generation. The founder answered the same day that a rush of new users during an update triggered it and that it had been fixed.

Slow change, say some long-term owners. On 1 October 2026 a buyer who bought the top tier in the earlier campaign wrote that “over the course of a year, the tool is pretty much the same.” A question from 14 October 2026 reported that the MCP connector wouldn’t connect to another agent platform over OAuth. We found no answer to either on the listing.

Founder access is real. Several 2025 reviews praise the founder, Iman Oubou, for tutorials and hands-on help, and the listing links to weekly office hours and a public roadmap.

The terms

The deal terms read:

  • “Lifetime access to Vocable AI.”
  • “All future Basic (Tier 1) or Pro (Tier 2-3) Plan updates.”
  • “If Plan name changes, deal will be mapped to the new Plan name with all accompanying updates.”
  • “No codes, no stacking—just choose the plan that’s right for you.”
  • “You must activate your license within 60 days of purchase.”
  • “Ability to upgrade between 3 license tiers while the deal is available.”
  • “Ability to downgrade between 3 license tiers within 60 days of purchase.”
  • “Available for new Vocable AI users and returning AppSumo purchasers.”
  • “Previous AppSumo customers who purchased Vocable AI can upgrade their license to increase their feature limits.”
  • “Previous AppSumo customers will be grandfathered into any new features and feature limits.”

The listing is “Covered by our We Got Your Back guarantee” and “Refundable up to 60 days.” It calls this a “Limited-time deal,” and the page’s data showed the deal set to go inactive after 17 November 2026; dates like that can move. The upgrade right lasts only “while the deal is available,” so if you start on Tier 1 and outgrow it after the listing closes, the cheaper route up may be gone.

Vocable AI vs Copy.ai and Jasper

The listing names Copy.ai and Jasper as the tools Vocable replaces. We didn’t read or price either for this review, so we won’t compare features or costs. What we can say from Vocable’s pages is where it puts its weight: a month-long plan per channel, a brand profile built from your own site and socials, and direct publishing on the higher tiers. If your work is one-off copy, such as ad lines or product descriptions, that structure is more than you need. If your problem is staying consistent across channels for months, it’s aimed squarely at you.

Common mistakes with the Vocable AI deal

Buying Tier 1 to publish. Channel integrations are crossed out on Tier 1. In practice, you’ll copy and paste every post.

Assuming Tier 2 is Vocable’s Pro plan. It gets Pro updates, but it’s capped at five brands and five campaigns.

Expecting images or video. The FAQ says it doesn’t make them. Don’t forget to budget for a design tool.

Expecting LinkedIn articles to publish. Posts yes, articles no, per the FAQ.

Waiting to upgrade. Moving up a tier on AppSumo terms is allowed only while the deal is live. Most people miss that this right ends with the listing.

Missing the activation window. When you buy, activate within 60 days, as the terms require.

Who Vocable AI suits

A consultant or coach with a weekly publishing habit. Tier 2 covers several channels for one or a few brands, with publishing.

A small agency or multi-brand founder. Tier 3, for unlimited brands, campaigns and three seats.

A writer who wants planning help but posts by hand. Tier 1 can work, if you accept no integrations.

Anyone who needs visuals, or writes only occasionally. Skip it.

How to test it inside the refund window

  1. Build a brand from your real website and check what the profile gets right and wrong.
  2. Generate one full 30-day campaign for your main channel and edit three posts to publishable.
  3. Publish one post to WordPress or LinkedIn (Tier 2 and up) and check formatting.
  4. Ask support in writing whether the campaign cap counts active or total campaigns.
  5. If you’ve got a second language to cover, generate a week of posts and check they stay in it.

What we couldn’t check

We didn’t generate campaigns, judge the writing or test publishing. We couldn’t confirm whether the campaign caps count active or total campaigns, how much of the brand scan Tier 1 keeps, or whether the MCP connector works with agents other than Claude. The listing showed no “bought” count. Settle the first two before day 60.

FAQ: Vocable AI questions

Is Vocable AI a one-time payment on AppSumo?

Yes. On 29 October 2026 the listing showed $89, $189 and $399 once, for Tiers 1 to 3.

Can Vocable AI Tier 1 publish to WordPress or LinkedIn?

No. The Tier 1 card crosses out channel integrations; publishing starts at Tier 2.

Is AppSumo Tier 2 the same as Vocable’s Pro plan?

Not quite. It gets Pro plan updates but is capped at five brands and five campaigns, where Pro is unlimited.

Does Vocable AI create images or videos?

No. Its FAQ says it doesn’t produce graphics, images or videos.

The verdict

Vocable AI is built for one job: turning a goal into a month of on-brand written content and pushing it out. The AppSumo deal is covered by We Got Your Back and refundable for 60 days, which lowers the risk. The problem is the ladder. Tier 1 drops the publishing and the social brand hub that make the pitch, and Tier 2’s caps fall short of the Pro plan it’s mapped to. For most buyers who publish, Tier 2 is the real starting point, and Tier 3 is the only one without a ceiling. Honestly, when you’re unsure between two tiers, buy the higher one and downgrade inside 60 days if it turns out you don’t need it; the terms allow that.
