Zylvie review: zero commission is real, and so is the sales cap

Zylvie sells checkout and sales pages with 0% commission on AppSumo from $89 once. Every plan carries a lifetime sales cap, and subscriptions start at Plan 3. What each tier unlocks, and who should buy.

Course creators, coaches, digital sellers

Bottom line: Zylvie is a checkout and storefront tool for creators who sell digital products, courses, coaching and memberships. Its promise is “forever-0% commission”: buyers pay you directly through your own Stripe or PayPal, and Zylvie takes nothing. On AppSumo it sells five plans, from $89 to $445 once. The detail to read before buying is printed on every plan card: a lifetime sales cap, from $250k on Plan 1 to $2M on Plan 5. Zylvie’s own monthly plans say “No sales limit whatsoever.” Subscriptions, a custom domain and automations start at Plan 3. The listing is “Not covered by We Got Your Back.”

Best for: creators selling ebooks, templates, courses or coaching who are tired of paying a percentage of every sale.

Think twice if: you expect to sell more than your plan’s cap, need a merchant of record, or can’t use Stripe or PayPal.

We have no affiliate deal with Zylvie or AppSumo; links go to the official pages. How we review.

Updated 29 October 2026. This Zylvie review rests on what we read that day: the Zylvie listing on AppSumo, including all five plans, the deal terms and the founder’s recent answers, and Zylvie’s own pricing page. We haven’t run a store through it, so we describe the plans and the terms, not checkout conversion rates.

What Zylvie does

Zylvie gives you a storefront, product pages and checkouts, built with a visual editor or its ready-made sales-page layout. According to the listing’s list of features in every plan, you also get:

  • Order bumps and one-click upsells, with an optional timer and discount.
  • Flash sales, countdown timers and “quantity left” counters.
  • Embeddable pop-up and inline checkouts for your existing website.
  • Unlimited promo codes, unlisted products, and “pay what you want” or free products.
  • Tax tools: automatic VAT, GST or sales-tax collection, and invoices with a VAT ID.
  • PDF stamping of the buyer’s details, to discourage piracy.
  • Email-platform integrations, including ConvertKit, MailerLite, SendFox, AWeber, GetResponse and Brevo.
  • Webhooks and API methods, plus GDPR-compliant stores and your own branding on store emails.

The overview also describes subscriptions, affiliates, automations and cart recovery. Those aren’t in every plan, as the next sections show.

The lifetime sales cap

Here’s the line most people miss. Each AppSumo plan card starts with a cap on total sales over the life of the account:

  • Plan 1: “Lifetime sales up to $250k”
  • Plan 2: $500k
  • Plan 3: $1M
  • Plan 4: $1.5M
  • Plan 5: $2M

Zylvie’s own monthly plans, Hustler, Slayer and Powerhouse, list “No sales limit whatsoever.” So the cap is specific to the lifetime deal. We couldn’t find what happens when a store reaches it, on either page. For most solo creators, $250k in lifetime sales is a long way off, and reaching it would be a good problem. When you already sell at scale, or expect to, ask Zylvie in writing what happens at the cap before you buy, and pick a plan with room to grow.

One-time prices on AppSumo; each plan is a number of stacked codes (1 to 5). Zylvie's own site lists Hustler at $7.99, Slayer at $14.99 and Powerhouse at $24.99 a month, each with 'No sales limit whatsoever'.

Prices checked Oct 29, 2026 on Zylvie’s own pricing page. Lifetime deals are listings that can end or change, so check the live listing before you buy.

Plan 1 ($89). One brand, up to 10 listed products, unlimited unlisted products, and the $250k cap. No affiliate system, no subscriptions, no custom domain, no automations.

Plan 2 ($178). Five brands, 50 products each, a $500k cap, and the in-built affiliate and referral system.

Plan 3 ($267). Ten brands, 200 products each, a $1M cap, plus a custom domain, subscription and SaaS products, workflow automations through Zapier, Pabbly or webhooks, and bulk CSV uploads.

Plan 4 ($356). Fifteen brands, 300 products each, a $1.5M cap, and manual or off-platform payments.

Plan 5 ($445). Twenty brands, 500 products each, a $2M cap, store localisation, card pre-authorisation, and cart abandonment recovery.

That last item deserves a note. The listing’s overview describes cart abandonment recovery at length, with reminder emails and discount codes. In the plan data we read, it appears only on Plan 5. If you’re buying partly for cart recovery, budget for the top tier.

One small oddity: the listing’s shared feature list reads “List up to products per brand,” with the number missing. The plan cards fill it in, from 10 to 500.

Not a merchant of record

The founder’s answers make one point very clear. Asked by a seller in Egypt about payouts, he wrote: “We’re not a merchant of record, so we don’t collect customer payments on your behalf or pay you out via Payoneer.” You connect your own Stripe or PayPal, and money goes straight there.

That’s how the 0% commission is possible, and it’s also a limit. If Stripe and PayPal aren’t available to you, Zylvie can’t fill the gap. A Dutch buyer asked about iDEAL and Mollie in January 2026; the founder said they’d look at it “in the next product release cycle.” Check the payment methods your customers use before you buy.

Customer accounts and languages

Two practical answers from the listing’s questions:

Buyer accounts are passwordless. Customers don’t sign up on your store; an account is created when they buy. They return to your store’s account page, enter their email, and get a login link. There’s no password to forget, and no password reset form.

Languages. The founder confirmed support for Polish, and French and English, and said you can translate your own content, such as product titles and descriptions, though not fixed elements like buttons. A Quebec seller who needs bilingual pages, for instance, can write both versions of every description, but the checkout’s built-in labels follow whatever language Zylvie provides.

The terms

The deal terms read:

  • “Lifetime access to Zylvie”
  • “You must redeem your code(s) within 60 days of purchase”
  • “All future Hustler Plan updates”
  • “Stack up to 5 codes”

Hustler is the lowest of Zylvie’s monthly plans. Honestly, that phrase is worth asking about: updates are promised for the entry plan’s feature set, so don’t assume every future feature reaches every lifetime tier.

Zylvie lifetime deal vs subscribing

Zylvie’s monthly plans cost $7.99 (Hustler), $14.99 (Slayer) and $24.99 (Powerhouse), with no sales limit. Its own site also lists lifetime offers from $249.99 once. Plan 1 on AppSumo is $89. If you’d otherwise pay for Hustler, the deal pays for itself within the first year. The trade is the sales cap, which the monthly plans don’t have.

Common mistakes with the Zylvie deal

Buying Plan 1 for a membership. Subscriptions start at Plan 3. When you sell recurring access, don’t buy the $89 tier and hope; it can’t bill monthly.

Forgetting the processor’s fees. Zero commission from Zylvie isn’t zero cost. Stripe and PayPal take their own cut, and currency conversion can add more. Most people skip this when comparing platforms, so add the processor’s published rate to every sale in your sums.

Expecting cart recovery on a mid tier. The overview sells it hard. The plan data puts it on Plan 5 only.

Treating the sales cap as a monthly figure. It’s lifetime. A store earning $5,000 a month reaches $250k in a little over four years, so if you’ve got growth plans, the cap is closer than it sounds.

Assuming local payment methods. If you’ve got customers who pay by iDEAL, Pix or another local method, check first. In practice, Stripe’s own coverage decides most of this.

Setting up passwords for buyers. There aren’t any. Tell customers to use the emailed login link, or they’ll write to you instead.

Who Zylvie suits

A creator selling ebooks or templates. Plan 1 covers one brand and up to 10 products, which is plenty for most digital-product shops.

A course creator with affiliates. Plan 2 adds the affiliate system. When you want to sell a membership too, go to Plan 3.

A coach or SaaS founder selling subscriptions. Plan 3 is the minimum, because subscriptions start there.

A seller without Stripe or PayPal. Skip it. Zylvie can’t take payments for you.

How to test it inside the refund window

  1. Redeem and connect Stripe or PayPal with a real account.
  2. Build one real product page and run a small live purchase.
  3. Check tax handling for a buyer in another country, and look at the invoice.
  4. Try an order bump or upsell and see the flow on a phone.
  5. Ask Zylvie in writing what happens at your plan’s sales cap.

What we couldn’t check

We didn’t measure conversion rates, page speed or deliverability of store emails. We couldn’t find what happens when a store reaches its lifetime sales cap. Those are the questions to settle before day 60.

FAQ: Zylvie questions

Does Zylvie really charge 0% commission?

That’s what both pages say. Payments go directly to your own Stripe or PayPal; those processors still charge their own fees.

Does the Zylvie lifetime deal have a sales limit?

Yes. Each AppSumo plan has a lifetime sales cap, from $250k on Plan 1 to $2M on Plan 5.

Which Zylvie plan can sell subscriptions?

Plan 3 and above, along with a custom domain and workflow automations.

Is Zylvie a merchant of record?

No. The founder says Zylvie doesn’t collect payments or pay out on your behalf.

The verdict

Zylvie delivers what it sells: a capable checkout with upsells, tax tools and 0% commission, from a founder who answers plainly. The lifetime deal is good value for creators below its sales caps, as long as you pick the tier for the features you need: affiliates from Plan 2, subscriptions from Plan 3, cart recovery only on Plan 5. Weigh the missing AppSumo guarantee and the Hustler-only update promise, and settle the cap question in writing.
